Back in Wakanda

Queen Shuri and Okoye are in the forest as they stand over the heart shaped herbs that were carefully placed here by Shrui herself. As Okoye observes them tears brim in her eyes. "Shuri, I do not know why Asha did not want to come home." She says lowly and Shuri looks up at her.

"I might, actually." Shuri says as she places her hand under her chin in thought. Okoye looks at her curiously waiting for her to continue. " I did some research on her and her family. Asha isn't from Wakanda. "

Okoyes eyes widen. "What?"

"Her father snuck past our boarders. He is a true Wakanda but somehow he managed to sneak pass his daughter and get her identity into the system somehow."

Okoye looks down in shock and confusion.

"And what about her mother?" Okoye asks looking back up.

Shuri gives Okoye a look of worry.

" Okoye, Asha..she is-"

"She is what? tell me" Okoye bluntly says.

"Asha isn't fully Wakandan. She shares DNA with what we know as Yucatan Mayan.." Shuri slowly says and Okoye shakes her head in shock.

"This cannot be.."

"It is...it took me forever to do some tracking but the last place I tracked Asha's presence before Wakanda was along the peninsula around 1997. And her last name is Mayan. So, that probably means her mother is Mayan."

"Oh my god." Okoye says covering her mouth. "What?" Shuri says looking at her strangely. "Asha, told me her mother died in child birth, but that is all I know."

"Oh." Shuri says as she looks down in silence. " Well, its all starting to make sense now."

" I cant imagine how she feels about this, but Okoye. Asha is down their with those people... well her people. What if she somehow is able to adapt to their ways..I know the stories ."

"You mean if she has transformed into them?" Okoye asks worried. Shuri nods and Okoye suddenly covers her mouth.

"Shuri , their is something else.." Okoye whispers .

Ashas pov

As I flutter my eyes open a ray of sunlight shines directly on my face and I sit up slowly yawning abit. I look around the hut seeing its cleaned up and organized. But no sight of Namor. As I go to stand up on my feet I get a sudden sharp pain in my lower abdomen and groan holding it in place. I'm definitely sore. Memories of last night flood my mind; Namors lips and hands roaming my body as we share a intimate moment together. I start to smile slowly thinking of it. I never thought a moment like this would happen between us. He was still a little closed off from me, but everything he showed me last night told me otherwise.

Do I regret what we did? Absolutely not. But my only question is where we would go from now? As I rub my lower abdomen trying to soothe it, I walk out the cabin to search for him. "Namor?" I say out loud looking for him. As I approach the waterfalls I see him underneath it with the water splashing on his face. " There you are."

I say and he turns to look at me. " Your awake." he says in relief and I raise my eyebrows. " Yes? Why wouldn't I be?" I ask as I step into the pool of water. " You passed out after and you weren't very responsive when I called your name." I start to remember the heaviness of sleep that clouded my vision before knocking out. " Yes, I was pretty tired. You wore me out."
