Okoyes pov

As I paced the room I think of a plan for the 50th time. I had no back up, no way into finding her.  My frustration grew everyday trying to plot it. But then it hit.

I couldn't do this by myself. It was impossible.

Asha has been gone for what seems like a month now, and no one was willing to help me. I was all alone in facing this dangerous nation. I pull out my beads and call through to Nakia. As it rings, she finally accepts the call after the third ring.

"Hello, Okoye." She says and  I sigh in relief.  "Nakia, I need your help." I say struggling. " Aneka, has left back to Wakanda and abandoned me here. I have no plan to save her." I say tearfully and Nakia clams me down over the phone.

"I know Aneka has left. But she has other important matters in handle back in Wakanda. As far as you Okoye, doing this by yourself is risky. Those people are dangerous."

"I know, Nakia. Im doing all I can to try to save her. I know they have her. But I cannot leave her there-"

"Listen to me Okoye. It was not easy for me to find her. I had to go deep into the depths of the ocean. Causing another altercation with these people isn't the best right now."  Nakia whispers.

"Nakia! she is a warrior! Leaving her to be with these people she could die!"

"I understand, but right now  I think this should be in the matters of Shuri. If they catch another wakandan in their nation, it could lead to worse things."

I sigh in frustration and cover my mouth. " I cannot believe this is happening."

"Asha, will be saved somehow. But you should alert Shuri right away." Nakia says and I take a breathe.

"Okay, I will." I say giving into her words. Nakia was right. It had only been a little over a year since our countries allied.  Shuri had promised to protect their waters, and that was all to it.

"Okoye, I think right now you need to be away." Nakia says and I raise my eyebrows.

"What do you mean, I am away."  I say confused and Nakia sucks her teeth over the phone. "I mean from Wakanda."

"I cannot do that-Nakia. Im to caught up in trying to save Asha. Besides, Wakanda is my home."

Its silent over the phone before she speaks again.

"Sometimes, we all need a break from home."

Ashas pov

As I float in the water I observe the shells that cover the ocean floor. I run my fingers over each of them admiring the beautiful design. I never knew the ocean was full of  so many beautiful things.  The animals and the sea plants were so exotic. Theirs even  some that I've never seen before that the surface world has never even discovered. Its so crazy.

I swim through some bushes and notice some strange looking  plants stashed in some of them. They look similar to the herb the J'men gave me. I go to pick them and observe them in my hands in the process. As I swim back to the caves I come up for air from the pool waters and hear the sounds of voices. The voices come from the hut nearby.

 Namors hut.

I slowly walk toward his hut trying not to be seen or heard. I stop by his door and hear his voice clearly as he talks. " I will not side with you, If this has nothing to do with protecting my nation. You made that promise, princess." I listen closely as I hear a faint voice speak from somewhere. It sounds like an echo almost as if it were a phone call.
