Occidifu and his army of armored men strolled through a chatty, crowded town square. A shiny charcoal statue resembling a man brandishing a sword stood in the center. The place was replete with buildings of various colors. The concrete pavements of the roads were colorfully painted with various colors, ranging from bright ones like yellow, to darker ones such as red.

Welcome to Gi, the borough of earth magic.

Everywhere, earth magic thrived. Little children formed rocks in their hands and played around them. Police stopped evil-doers by using their palms to form cages made of metal. Homeless people used their powers to generate floating pieces of wood and concrete to build entire houses.

Occidifu looked around with a big grin on his face.

"My men, this is it!" he announced. "Just two more boroughs to go, and we'll be in Perikayo and I'll obtain the magic gem! And so far, we've been doing a fantastic job at keeping that damn multimage off our tail. We just need to keep thinking up new plans, and I've got just the one."

He looked at Declan with a firm look. The boy felt like his heart just jumped out of his chest.

"Declan, I'm going to need your help on this one."

Declan sighed. Great, more evil deeds.

In one area, people walked down the streets, holding shopping bags and food. The place was filled with the aroma of cheese and meat, thanks to all of the food places. That's right--this was street for the highest-quality shopping and the most mouth-watering cuisine Gi has to offer.

But all of a sudden, Declan pitter-pattered down the street and stood in front of a clothing store. He held up a ridiculously accurate drawing of Lontari, Axel, and Shantae, waving it in the air like it was the greatest masterpiece on Earth.

"People of Gi, beware!" he barked. "People of Gi, beware!"

In the blink of an eye, everyone turned to look at him. Their eyes were locked at him, feeling that it could be important. However, some soon walked away from the scene.

Declan fearfully announced, "Magic Island is in serious trouble!" He pointed at the poster in his hand. "This trio, Lontari, Axel, and... this girl, are searching for the Viridis gem for their own evil ambitions!

The people soon got scared. Some started sweating and breathing. One person even collapsed to the floor with a loud thud, generating yells of fear around him.

"But hope isn't lost!" Declan continued. "You, the people of Gi, can fight back with your earth magic! Do you want your home to be destroyed? Do you want to lose everything you've invested your blood and tears into? Do you want to lose the ones dearest to you? If you say no to all of these three questions, then do as I say and fight back!"

"What's this I hear?" a voice yelled, silencing everyone almost instantly.

The people stepped to the side, watching as a mysterious bald man walked proudly down the street. Hard, rock armor hugged his entire body. Declan stared at him like he was a monster.

"It's The Demolisher!!!" a man yelled, summoning roaring from the crowd.

The Demolisher crossed his arms and smirked.

"Now what's this I hear about some evil explorers tryna steal the Viridis gem?!" he happily demanded. "Well, they better watch out..." He punched the air multiple times before entering a fighting pose. "For I'mma give 'em a good kapow!!!"

He turned around to look at his admirers. "Everyone! Let's show these no-gooders what we of Gi are made of!!"

He placed his fists on hips and smiled, listening to the deafening cheers of the crowd. It felt so good to be recognized for his heroic and powerful nature. After all, he was the most strongest and famous mage in the entire borough.
