When Snow meets Wisteria

A Restaurant and Mission

The day flew by and soon it would be time for Akaza to meet up with Mitsuri and her friends at the restaurant.The place looked nice,it was small but gave off a cozy atmosphere,plants were all over the building bright flowers blooming at the front.It was nice,that was all he could really say.He hadn't even set foot into the restaurant before he heard Mitsuris cry of "AKAZA OVER HERE!!!" He looked over to his right and saw Mitsuri waving at him madly beside her was a Hashira who wore a white and black striped haori who glared at him,and the white haired man with the gem headband and of course,Kyojuro in all his flamey glory sitting at a table outside the restaurant.Akaza quickly walked over not liking the attention Mitsuri was attracting over to them.Heck she didn't even have to wave and yell to attract attention many men would look at her because of her beauty and figure,though when he passed by two men he heard them whispering mean things about her hair colour.He glared at them not wanting to cause a scene, sure her hair was unlike any he'd ever seen but look at Kyojuros !?!He has literally got hair the color of flames!?!

As he got closer to the table he saw that the only seat that was free at the table they had chosen was the one next to Rengoku who was very aware of it,very aware.Akaza quickly sat down and apologized for arriving later than expected. "No problem Akaza,We didn't wait to long we haven't even ordered anything yet!" Tengen just slapped him on the back harder than necessary and said with a giant grin on his face "of course you had to arrive fashionably late on our first get together!!!how very flashy of you!!!" Akaza just shot him a glare before looking over to the other person sitting at the table.He had seen him at the meeting but never got to know his name he had seen him in a tree for a bit as well he wonders what he was doing up there,the snake wrapped around said persons neck looked back at him and hisssed.It was a snake with pure white scales and red eyes,a true beauty.A person then walked over and asked what they would like to eat "I WOULD LIKE SOME SWEET ROASTED POTATOES PLEASE!!!" yelled Rengok a little to loudly "a bowl of ramen noodles please" Akaza said at a respectable volume "a serving of your flashiest sushi for me✨" Tengen said while striking a pose sparkles seemed to come flying off of him "oh oh oh ,some Sakura mochi for me!please!" Mitsuri said ,excitement practically radiated off of her.However the Hashira wearing a mask didn't order anything.The lady smiled politely and walked into the back into the kitchen. 

"Sooooo,Akaza my man what do you look for in a romantic partner???" Said Tengen while wiggling his eyebrows a sly smirk on his face, "why'd you need to know Tengen?I doubt your interested" said Akaza ,his annoyance was very clear in the tone he said those words in "oh no I'm not interested ,I'm just curious and asking for a friend" Akaza rolled his eyes missing the way Rengokus face reddened slightly. "I don't know I just want someone who genuinely loves and cares about me just as much as I love and care about them" Tengen sighed and put a hand under his chin a yawned "boring!get to the more dramatic bits!" Akaza shot him another glare but continued anyway "I guess it would be nice to be taken care of.Almost my entire life has been spent caring for others,I wouldn't mind being taken care of myself this time....it would be a nice change I guess..."  Akaza just stared down at his hands. "Mmmhmmm interesting,very interesting" Tengen gaze slid over to Rengoku and he raised an eyebrow at him ,seemingly asking him if he got all that with out words,Rengoku nodded his head his usual smile on his face though his face was quite red.Akaza looked at Rengoku and placed a hand on his forehead his brows furrowing "Kyojuro are you alright?Do you have a fever your face is quite red" Rengokus face simply turned even redder under Akazas hand and practically yelled "YES!!!I AM QUITE ALRIGHT!!!THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN!!!" Akaza took his hand off of Rengokus forehead and placed it back on the table a confused expression on his face "uh huh alright if you say so" suddenly the woman came back with all their food,they placed it on the table said some quick words than left.Mitsuri practically glowed at the sight of Sakura mochi.She basically inhaled all of the mochi on the plate and then asked for seconds ,than thirds and then fourths.....Rengoku was not very different he ate sweet potato after sweet potato.Akaza wouldn't be surprised if these two people alone could drive and food business out of business by eating their entire stock. "UMAI!!!UMAI!!!UMAI!!!UMAI!!" Akaza couldn't help but laugh "god do you really need to yell that after every bite you take" wiping a tear from his eye.Rengoku was dumbfounded for a second,Akazas laugh was wonderful it wasn't high pitched and squeaky nor was it loud and booming it was just in the middle of the two,Rengoku wanted to hear more of that laugh ,to be the reason for such joy in this man that seemed to always be so angry and annoyed. "YES I MUST ,FOR EVERY BITE OF FOOD MAY BE MY LAST SO I MUST APPRECIATE IT!!!" Akaza sighed "of course it could be your last,being a slayer isn't exactly a safe job or anything" Akaza imagined the image of Rengoku being ripped apart by demons ,being crushed by some demon art or being impaled by a demons fist.He wouldn't let that happen,he would do everything in his power to keep this man who rivaled the Sun alive.No matter what.He wouldn't lose anyone ever again.

They had all finished eating and the Sun had set by then Obanai Mitsuri and Tengen had all left leaving Akaza and Rengoku alone together.A comfortable silence filled the air as they walked untill the sounds of wings flapping filled the night sky.Rengokus crow came flying by circling them cawing loudly "YOU HAVE A MISSION ON THE MUGEN TRAIN PASSENGERS HAVE GONE MISSING CAW CAW YOU HAVE A MISSION ON THE MUGEN TRAIN PASSENGERS HAVE GONE MISSING" A serious expression crossed Rengokus face "IM SORRY TO CUT THIS SHORT AKAZA BUT I HAVE A MISSION TO FULFILL SO GOODBYE FOR NOW MAY YOU HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY BACK TO THE BASE" but before Rengoku could run off Akaza grande his wrist "Wait!take me with you!"
