Rengoku's Pov

I quickly decapitated the demon I was sent to kill I had to hurry back or else I'd miss dinner with Akaza.We've been together for a while now and I still have stopped getting the feeling of butterflies in my stomach.My smile softens as I think about my boyfriend it feels like it was only yesterday when we were at that festival, we've accomplished so much sense then.Akaza helps people around the butterfly estate and basically lives there now causing me to spend quite a lot of time there.I can't tell if Shinobu is annoyed by this or not but no matter I'll make it up to her if it does.I sigh and start running towards the butterfly estate.

I was almost at the butterfly estate when I heard someone calling my name  "Mister Rengoku!!!" I turned around to face whoever it was that said that and instantly smiled "Tanjiro my boy!!!How have you been!?!".The blond boy running up beside Tanjiro flinches when I say this.I wonder why? "I have been good! thank you for asking." Tanjiro says. "And your sister?!?" I ask again "Ah she's ok as well,She's sleeping in the butterfly estate right now" he says.So that's why he doesn't have her box with him."Why are you out here then?!?"  Tanjiro smiled and looked away a little embarrassed "well...Inosuke ran off again I think he had an argument with someone and got upset ".I instantly thought of Akaza that sounded like something he would do.Suddenly a loud crash followed by shouting and shattering glass was heard.I instantly turned to look at where the sound was coming from.That.....that came from the butterfly estate......I look over at Tanjiro and his friend.I quickly run over towards the estate.I hear Tanjiro yell something at me but I wasnt paying attention.I run in and instantly start searching for the room thr souds coming from.I eventually reach the storage room and kick down the door with my sword drawn. "What the hell?!?" Yelled a voice I know oh so well.I look up and see Akaza and who I assume is Inosuke standing infront of him.I  scanned the room ignoring Akaza for now looking for the threat.Icouldn't sense a demon , I then looked at the floor and saw a bunch of shattered glass on the floor and some rolled of bandages.I looked at Akaza and raised by brow.Akaza puts his hand on his hip sighs "Well I WAS getting some more bandages for Aoife but then SOMEONE jumped through the window and demanded to fight me" he said glaring at Inoksuke angrily. "I AM THE STRONGEST AND I DEMAND YOU FIGHT WITH ME!!!!WHOEVER LOSES SGAKL BECOME THE WINNERS SERVANT!!!" Inosuke yelled pointing one of his two swords at Akaza.I instantly get between him and Akaza "I'm sorry but Akaza is busy right now!!!" I tell him.This seems to anger him more "NO ONES EVER TO BUSY FOR ME!!!" he yells.However before anything happens someone else appears at the entrance . "My my what's happening here?" I turn around and look at my fellow hashira."Shinobu it's good to see you!!!How have you been!?!" Shinobu ends up smiling and tilting her head to the side "well my day was fine until I found some idiots messing around in my storage room" she said sweetly. "Now is anyone going to tell me what you all are doing hmm?". "Ah Inosuke here decided to jump through that small window up there and try and fight me" Akaza says annoyance very obvious in his voice. "Akaza why don't you give those bandages to the girls?I need to talk with Inosuke here".Akaza shrugged and picked up a small box of bandages and left. "Rengoku why don't you go and wait for Akaza somewhere else?" I nodded and left, I knew better than to argue with Shinobu.

I walk around and end up deciding to go to what was now basically Akaza room.I walk in and see the brass knuckles we had made for him on the table.I picked them up and inspected them they were a beautiful light blue color with small snowflakes engraved in them.However there were a few scratch marks on the tips of them.Huh I thought he said he hasn't been training with them?I hear the door opening and see Akaza walking in. "Oh Kyojuro I didn't know you were in here.i would have hurried up if I knew"  "Ah no worries I wasn't waiting long!!!" I say.I hold the knuckles up to him "have you been training recently?" I ask. "Uh no?I've been pretty busy here" he said gesturing to the door "hmmm" is all I say back.Odd, why are they so damaged then?They don't seem old either. "Well I'm sure we can train now!!!Unless your busy?!?" I'm sure Akaza would tell me if it's was important. "No I'm not busy" Akaza said "Can we train now?" He asks, stars basicly shooting out of his eyes. "Of course we can !!!!Let's go!!!" I grab Akazas wrist and drags him outside to a training field, I then let go and chuck  Akazas brass knuckles back at him.I walk to the other side and pull out my sword. "Are you ready Akaza!?!I won't hold back!!!" I yell at him. Akaza laughs and slides the brass knuckles onto his hands. "Im always ready Kyojuro".Akaza lowers his body down to the ground slightly before charging at me.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE TRAINING :D

"Are you sure you haven't been training Akaza?!?You have improved significantly!!!" A suspicious amount for someone who supposedly  hasn't been training but of course I don't say that out loud. "Aww thank you for the compliment Kyojuro!" Akaza says with a smirk on his face.Chugging down a cup of tea he had brewed. "Want some?" I shake my head "No I think I'm good!!!" Akaza chuckles and shrugs suit yourself." Akaza glances at the sky. "Has it really been that long?The sun has set again." I turn to look at the sky "Oh indeed it has!!!" Has time really passed this fast?I didn't even notice, I guess time does fly by when your having fun. "Hey Kyojuro,I'm going to go back to my room now.See you soon?" I turn to look at him but he was facing away from me.I don't know why that upsets me,it shouldn't. "Alright Akaza good night!!!I think I'll stay the night as I don't have any missions either!!!" He finally turns to face me and he smiles "ok Kyojuro" he says before he quickly walks away.I go back to ask Shinobu if she has a spare room after that.

ANOTHER TIME SKIP :)

I suddenly a hear a noise and I quickly jerk out of bed.And reach for my sword that was always close to me and grab it tightly.I look around my room and dont see anything.I hear another noise and it soundes like it came from one of the rooms across from me.But that place is empty the only person that should be there is.....Akaza!!!I run out of my room and bang on Akazas door "AKAZA!?!" No response "OPEN THE DOOR!!! AKAZA?!?" I hear a quiet laugh come from the other side of the room followed by a demonic presence before it went silent again.Damm it!!I kick down the door and burst in. "AKAZA?!?" He wasn't here.The room was a mess, bed sheets on the floor the drawer partially open.The window was open, I quickly jump out of it and start looking around looking for any trace of Akaza at all. "Rengoku?What's wrong?" I turn around and see Shinobu and Tanjiro and his friends all looking at me. "There was a demon here.And now Akazas gone." I say, everyone's eyes widen."Ill go inform Master about this." Shinobu says before leaving to write a letter I assume.He's gone.Where is he?What happened?
