I don't know all the names of clothes they would wear at the time, I searched some up but I'm not sure if it's correct please forgive me if they are wrong 😓Also I just realized I've been spelling Kyojuros name wrong so I'll fix that in the other chapters.

Still Rengokus POV

Akaza?!?What was he doing here?Actually no, i should be asking how he's here.Last time I saw him we were.......we were...we.....were...I frowned and tried to remember what I was just thinking about.That's odd, I can't seem to remember. "Remember what Kyojuro ?" Said Akaza with a confused look on his face.Oh I must have said that out loud , my bad. "I don't know!" I replied with my signature smile on my face, this just caused Akaza to laugh "how could you not remember what you were trying to remember?!?Thats just ridiculous!!!" I didn't get why it was so funny. "The great flame Hashira,bested by his poor memory!!!" His laughing stopped after that and looked at me with a wide smile "what are you doing here Akaza?" Is all I say in return,something was off but I couldn't tell what or why.I need to stay on guard. "What do you mean what am I doing here?Cant visit my boyfriend after a long day?" Time itself seemed to stop entirely....boyfriend?Since when were we.....ah yes.I asked Akaza if he would be my boyfriend after a mission of mine and of course he expected.Akaza frowned "Are you alright Kyojuro ?Youre acting weird today?Weirder than usual." He had a point what was going on with me today?I keep on asking things I already know the answer to and now I can't remember things....this is strange, very strange.It not like me to forget something as important as who my boyfriend is....Suddenly I felt something.It was a threat but where?I rushed over to where my sword was and grabbed it and looks around,there was nothing so why am I feeling a threat around here? "Hey Kyojuro you sure you're ok?" Followed by my little brothers small frown "Big brother what are you doing?Is everything alright?"Suddenly everything went black.

Meanwhile in Akaza dream (Akazas POV)

I suddenly startled awake where am I?I look around and just simply saw was just simple tatami flooring and bare walls.How odd,I must keep my guard up I don't know where this place is or how I got here but you can never be to sure.I was just with Kyojuro and the others on the Mugen Train so why am I ???Wait what am I thinking?I haven't been on a train in years,I never wanted to go on one so why am I thinking of a train now?I start walking over to the sliding door and quietly opening it slightly ,checking if there was any sort of threat before opening it fully the door.Why is this place so familiar?Ive never been here before so why...I walked down the small hallway and opened a couple doors each room was empty until I opened a door which led to the gardens apparently.Standing in the gardens tending to some flowers was a man wearing a yellow Yukata,the man suddenly looked up and I was speechless...no no no nononono this had to be some sort of joke!!!This...this isn't possible? "Hakuji can you help me tend to the garden?Its hard doing all this work alone at my age." The man smiled at me.No....he wasn't just any man.He was my father,But how? He died ,I saw it in front of my very eyes!!! "You shouldn't be here!!!" I yelled tears collected in my eyes. "Hakuji are you alright?" My father walked up to me and put a hand on my four head with a frown on his head. "You don't seem to have a fever nor do you seem I'll in any other way." My father mumbled to himself. "...I-" ...........what was I talking about?My father is right here,we just went to town yesterday to buy some more vegetables because we had run out.I sighed "I- I don't know what happened I'm sorry" I sai with a frown but my father smiled "I'm glad your ok, but you know you can tell me anything right?" I just stood there in silence and my father sighed "why don't we do the gardening tomorrow?You can go and up, all the chores you do must be catching up to you." I simply nodded and apologized for being such a nuisance but my father smiled and patted my head "your never a nuisance Hakuji".We were interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on the door "I'll get it"I said while rushing over to the door ,when I opened it Tomayo and Yushiro were standing outside holding a basket....in Sun light.I quickly grabbed both of them and yanked them inside "What are you doing out in the middle of the day?!?" Tomayo frowned "why wouldn't we be out and about today?Theres great weather today and the festival is going to start later tonight so we thought we'd bring you some gifts" now it was my turn to frown "but you can't be outside during the day because,b-because ......." I don't know what I was so worried about anymore.Maybe the exhaustion really is getting to me. "Ah Tomayo good to see you ,sorry about Hakuji he's been a little tired lately I think going to the festival will help him relax a bit" said my father as he appeared behind me.He patted me on the back "why don't you get some rest?Ill wake you up when you have to go to the festival" I nodded my head and walked to my room.I lay down on my futon and closed my eyes and wondered to myself why am I being so weird today?

I woke up to someone whispering my name and opened my eyes and glared at the person, who turned out to be my father. "Come on now Hakuji,Rengoku is waiting for you outside you don't want to keep him waiting do you?" Is all he said before leaving the room.Kyojuro was here?Since when?I got up reluctantly and left my room.The clothes I was wearing would do fine so I wouldn't have to change and my hair was naturally messy so no one would notice I just got out of bed.I opened the front door and there Kyojuro was.Standing wearing a dark red yukata with a flame pattern on the bottom.How predictable, I looked down at my dark blue plain yukata it looked rather boring compared to Kyojuro.I walked over to him "what are you doing here?" I said while crossing my arms. "I'm here to collects you were going to the festival after all!!!Kets go the fire works will start any minute now!!!" He said while grabbing one of my hands and pulling him along with his as he ran towards where the festival was being held.When we got there Kyojuro went from stall to stall buying food after food though I wasn't surprised at all, Kyojuro loved his food after all.He suddenly held up a bag with a goldfish in it in front of my face "for you!!!" He announced with pride.The goldfish was a wonderful colour a nice golden orange with hints of red at the tips of its fins ,kind of like Kyojuros hair.it's scales sparkled in the light of all the lanterns of the festival.I took it and thanked him, I was confused at how he had time to go and get the fish without me noticing but that was the least of my concerns.He suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him again, "come on Hakuji!!!I know a great place we can see the fireworks!!!".He ran up a hill with me in tow, the hill was pretty tall and had a cherry tree at the very top.He let go of my hand and sat down under the tree, and I sat down beside him and looked up at the sky waiting for the fireworks to begin. "Why did you come here with me?" I asked because I was genuinely confused, why come here with just me?He had other friends and lots of them I'd say. "You have plenty of other friends you could have brought to.Ah not that I'm not grateful or anything!" I said quickly holding my hands up in defense,but he just laughed at me instead.When he finally stoped laughing he smiled at me genuinely and said "I brought you here with me because your precious to me Hakuji" I was about to reply but I heard a boom in the distance so I looked up and saw the fireworks had begun.Bright bursts of colour filled the dark night sky, lighting it up in ways I could only dream of.Suddenly I felt a hand on mine and looked down and saw Kyojuros hand on mine.He didn't say anything so I didn't either not wanting to ruin the peace.I smiled to myself and thought ,if this is a dream,I never want to wake up.
