Festival Date

The next night

Akaza was sitting on his bed wearing a simple dark blue top and baggy dark grey pants,he didn't have many clothes to choose from so he hoped that his choice of clothing would be good enough for tonight's date.Atleast Akaza thought it was a date.Hopefullyhe wasn't misinterpreting Rengokus invitation, suddenly a knock came from the door to his room and Akaza went over and opened it to see Rengoku standing there his smile just as bright as ever.He looked Akaza up and down and seemed to nod in approval "Hello Akaza ,You look very nice tonight!!!" He said "Hmmm you too Kyojuro" he said.Rengoku wasn't wearing his usual uniform but wore a red top with black bottoms instead. "Senjiro helped me pick it out!!!" He yelled his voice full of pride "I wasn't talking about the outfit but it does look good on you aswell" said Akaza.Rengoku seemed puzzled for a second before he decided to ignore Akazas answer. "Well then, are you ready to have the best night of your life!?!" Akaza chuckled "we're just having dinner right?" He asked Rengoku. "Ah well about that!!!Tengen told me that there was a festival in town tonight so I thought we could go there!!!" Akaza thought for a moment "Tengen?White haired guy who's very dramatic?" "Yes that's the one!!!" Rengoku yelled. "Well come on!!!The festival awaits!!!" Rengoku yelled grabbing Akazas hand before dragging him away with him.

They arrived at the festival in a couple of minutes.The streets full of busy stalls and bright lights.Akaza stared at all the hustle and bustle eyes darting from stall to stall ,he'd never been to such a busy festival and it was never often either.He would only go every couple of years and each time he came he never stayed long, this was such a big festival compared to the ones he'd been to, he wanted to see everything.He looked at Rengoku who was already staring at him. "I thought we would get stuff to eat here for dinner!!!Why go to a festival if you dont eat any of the food!!!" Rengoku said with a massive smile.Akaza nods his eyes moving to the food stalls " what do you want to eat?" He asked.Rengoku seemed prepared for this question as he drags Akaza in the direction of a stall and asked for something and paid, when he turned around Akaza saw he had a massive bucket load of roasted sweet potato slices.Akaza looked at them and furrowed his brows "should I be concerned that you basicly bought half of that stalls stock of sweet potatoes?" Akaza asked Rengoku shook his head "Not at all!!!This is a very normal amount to buy!!!" Akaza looked at Rengoku and then looked behind him at the people buying handfuls of sweet potatoes "uh huh alright then, if you say so" he said.Akaza walked over to a takoyaki stall and purchased three, one for him and two for Rengoku as he seemed to have a big apatite and could probably eat all the food from every stall here and still not be full.He handed the two takoyakis to Rengoku who was busy munching sweet potatoes yelling "UMAI!!" After every single bite.Akaza had to hold back a laugh at this ,him yelling umai shouldn't be as endearing as it said.Rengoku then looked at him as he handed him the two takoyakis.Rengoku thanked him loudly before continuing to inhale all his sweet potatoes which he had to finished half of at this moment.He then walked along the street until he saw a stall selling dango and walked over and bought two sticks handing one to Rengoku ,who had finished all of his sweet potatoes and was now eating the takoyaki.Akaza had to wished his takoyaki and saw a fishing game where you had to catch a fish with a net ,Rengoku sees him looking and walks over and payed the vendor who handed him a net. "I will catch the best fish Akaza!!!" He said before bending down and thrashing the net around in the water in hopes of a fish swimming in.Akaza watched this from the side lines frowning at Rengokus technique, he sighed and shook his head walking closer and holding out his hand for Rengoku to hand him the net.Rengoku looked at his hand and looked back at him and then looked at his hand again before handing the net over to him.Akaza placed the net into the water and waited for a fish to aprouch and when one did he took the net out of the water ,the fish still traped inside.The vendor placed the fish into a small circular bowl and handed it to Rengoku.They walked away from the booth together when Rengoku turned around to face him and handed the fish he caught to Akaza Here this is for you!!!" He said with a smile. "Your giving me the fish u caught for you?" Akaza asked ,Rengoku simply nodded.Akaza took the bowl out of his hands and half it under his armpit "thanks " he muttered while continuing to walk forward."The fireworks should be starting soon !!!" Akaza said "wanna go see them?" He asked.Rengoku nodded his head "Yes I would like to!!!" He yelled in reply.Rengoku and stoped for a second to think."hmmm I think somewhere high up is the best place to watch them!!!" Rengoku said before turning to Akaza and picking him up bridle style "What are you doing Kyojuro!?!" Yelled Akaza as Rengoku held him. "Getting us somewhere high up!!!" He said before jumping up to the roof of a building ,Akaza wrapped his arms around Renngokus neck and screamed ,who the heck fuck jumped this high ? Rengoku landed on the roof of the building before jumping to another and another Akazas screams echoing across the streets until they landed on a decently tall building and Rengoku put Akaza down.Akaza stumbled a bit before punching Rengoku in the shoulder "Don't just do that randomly without permission!!!" He yelled, Rengoku gave him an apologetic look before apologising "I'm sorry it won't happen again" he said with a sad smile on his face.Akaza looked at Rengoku ,he didn't like seeing him like this, Rengoku was always so bright like the sun and seeing him look so upset was so....odd,sadness doesn't suit Rengoku and that was the conclusion Akaza came to. "Hey it's fine ,nothing bad happened so it's ok.Just warn me next time." He said "now come and sit and eat dango with me, the fireworks are going to begin soon right?". This seemed to brighten Rengokus mood somehow and he instantly walked over to where Akaza was now sitting at the edge of the building.Akaza handed him a stick of dango which he excepted gratefully and finished in 2 bites.Akaza smiled he liked seeing Rengoku happy ,he would do anything to make him happy and if eating inhuman amounts of food made him happy then so be it.Akaza who had only taken one bite of his dango handed his to Rengoku."are you sure you don't want this?!?" He asked uncertainty "yeah, you can have it" Akaza said "you looked like you enjoyed the yours so you can have mine too." Rengoku expected and thanked him before finishing the rest of the dango in one bite. "Thank you Akaza!!!" Rengoku yelled pure joy laced his words "Anything for you Kyojuro"
