The Battle Ends and Kyojuro Makes a Move

The sword connected with the demons neck,the blue glow now becoming a raging fire.A look of panic forming on its face before he quickly  plastered his disgusting smile back on.And that's when I noticed, the sword was stuck.I couldn't move it further into the demons neck nor could I pull it out.The flames that had engulfed the sword suddenly extinguished, and the demons fans were coming at me.I tried as hard as I could to force the sword deeper into the demons neck, but failed.This couldn't be it,if I was going to die here and now this demon was going to go down with me.The fans  would hit me any second now , and the sword was still stuck.The demons eerie  smile was even more unnerving this close up,I guess this would be the last thing I see before I die.Suddenly I was pushed out of the way by something, I landed hard on the ground.I look up in horror and see Kyojuro standing in my place the demons fan wedged in to his side.Blood oozed out of his wound but even with the wound he raised his sword and aimed for the demons neck ,but was quickly thrown away by Douma. "You know if you all just stood still I could give you all a quick and painless death!" He said as if he wasn't on the battle field with a sword stuck in his neck, which he pulled out and threw carelessly onto the ground. "But I guess that would be unlike you slayers.Always so determined!" He prepared to attack again "But that doesn't matter because you will all die in the end!" He lunged forward slicing Kyojuro multiple times before he retaliated "Flame Breathing Fifth Form Flaming Tiger!!!" The blow landed slicing down at the demons shoulder severing it slightly.I watched as the severed flesh slowly stitched itself back together, damn demons and their regeneration.The demon once again lunged at him " Flame Breathing Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation" Kyojuro swung his sword in a circular motion the flames defending him from the slashes that the demon deliverers continuously, I saw an opening and quickly jumped in , the demon was to occupied with Kyojuro right now so I should b able to land a hit.I jumped up and delivered a quick kick to its head severing its jaw from its head.The demon stumbled back only slightly and turned to face me. "That wasn't very nice, I wasn't even going for you just then!" It said after its jaw healed.It looked up at the sky and tapped its fan on its chin. "Hmm...The sun is rising" it seemed to think for a moment before turning to face me his smile somehow got wider and mover unnerving.It made me shudder a little ,the way the demon was looking at me. "well I guess that's all for now!Lets meet again soon Akaza!" It said while dashing of into the woods.While we stood there in shock.The fact that we made it though a battle with such a strong demon had yet to sink in.

The sun rose lighting up the battlefield and the wrecked train.We survived, I guess that demon did too but we're alive.That's all that matters right now ,right?I looked down at my hands the ice was still on my knuckles ,this would be a pain to get rid of.I looked over and saw Tanjiro standing up and walking towards Kyojuro.I suddenly remembered his injury and rushed over as well,I ran over to where Kyojuro was using his  sword to support himself.Blood was still oozing from where the demons fans had wedged itself. "Go and lie down already Kyojuro!!!The demons gone so there's no point in standing there alright!?!" I said.He turned to me and laughed "I guess you are right!!!No point in letting this injury kill me if the demons still alive!!!" I quickly pulled him down by the arm laying him down on the ground while I sat as well and rested his head on my lap. "There's no point in dieing at all Kyojuro" I said while I looked him over, the wound was deep but shouldn't have damaged any vital organs the only risk there would be was the fact that he could bleed out or get an infection.I quickly took of my top and pressed it onto the wound on his side.The material was  instantly almost instantly dyed a bright red.I turned to Tanjiro "Don't you demon slayers have some doctors or something that follow slayers around when their on a mission or something?!?Where are they when you need them?!?" Tanjiro quickly looked around as if he could spot them right now "I don't know they should be here by now!" He said a small bit on panic in his voice.Suddenly the boar kid and the blond kid ran in with Nezuko in the box that was being dragged along the ground by Inosuke. "GAHHHHHHH WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU RENGOKU!?!WAS IT A DEMON IS IT STILL HERE!?!GAHHHHHH" yelled the blond kid , Tanjiro looked at the kid with a questioning expression "Zenitsu demons can't go out in the sun" "There was a demon here and you didn't call me the great Inosuke to come deal with it!?!Bahahah if you did that the demon would have been done for!!!" Zenitsu looked very annoyed by the boar kids announcement "Inosuke if Rengoku can't beat it what makes you think you stand a chance?!?" I saw starting to get annoyed with their bickering at this point "would you all shut up?!?Kyojuro just fell asleep!" I whisper yelled at them.Suddenly a bunch of demon slayers wearing  a cloth to cover their face except their eyes appeared.They ran towards us and started to treat Tanjiro wound "I'm sorry  we're late we go held up!" One apologized. "Can we please take a look at the Flame Hashira?" Another one asked me "Knock yourself  out" I said while moving out of the way.

It has been a week since we went on the mission to the mugen train.Tanjiro was good as new after he got his wound checked in the butterfly estate, Inosuke and Zenitsu didn't seem injured at all from that mission so they went off on their own missions and Nezuko was here with her brother.I looked through the window of the room I was staying in for now in the butterfly estate, the moon was very round tonight, it was very pretty.They had to remove a thin layer of skin from my knuckles to remove the ice because it refused to melt no matter what, apparently I'd also inhaled some of the ice and they had to wait and see if it had any side effects.It was really nice here ,the girls were understanding in their own ways and there was always some slayers dropping by as well.I even received a letter from Tomayo asking if I got any blood samples from the demon, there was even a small part at the bottom from Yushiro who wished me a speedy recovery.He probably sneaked that part in, he's determined not to show that he cares at all but he's terrible at it.And then there was Kyojuro.His injuries were probably the worst, he'd inhaled a lot of the ice when he used his breathing technique back at the fight ,the wound from the demons fans were pretty nasty as well but not anything life threatening.He's still here as well healing.He had to get a new sword apparently as well, such a shame, his old one looked very nice.

I was startled as the door to my room was thrown open "Hello Akaza!!!I hope you are recovering well!!!" Yelled a very bright and happy Kyojuro "Kyojuro?!?Shouldn't you still be on bed rest?" He walked over to the bed I was sitting on and sat down beside me arms crossed. "I feel fine!!!And Shinobu said it was ok!!!" He yelled again.I sighed and shook my head "Kyojuro it's late shouldn't you be in your room?You do need to be well rested no matter your condition." Then he stood up again turned to look at me and said something I definitely wasn't expecting "Well I was thinking that it would be ok if I slept here!!!But if you have a problem with that I can always leave!!!" He stated.My mind and heart suddenly started to speed up significantly.Sleep here?!?With me?!?Such a handsome man wants to sleep her with me?!?In the same bed?!?No Akaza don't jump to conclusions.Okokokokok play it cool.Play it cool. "N-No....I don't have a problem with that..." damn that stupid stutter. "Alright then!!!I am feeling a little tired would you mind laying down?!?" ........what.......why did I have to lie down if he was the one sleeping?I complied anyway and lied down on my side facing away from him.Suddenly I felt the bed dip as Kyojuro got in the bed but what shocked me the most was the fact that he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me back against his chest.My face flushed a bright red.What the fuck what the fuuuccckkk.Ok this was fine, this was totally fine. "Is this ok?" He asked quietly "y-yep.this is fine" I said my throat suddenly dryer than it had ever been before.He hugged me a little tighter as soon as I said that.Well then this was quite the predicament.Being spooned by the man I had a crush on.All I could do was lie there and hope he couldn't hear the speed of my heartbeat at this moment.I felt Kyojuros breathing slow to a slow and steady pace, he's fallen asleep.Honestly besides the panic I was and still am feeling, this is nice.Being held like this.I've never experienced anything like it.I hope we could do this again.I can't help the fact that this moment gave me a little hope that Kyojuro might like me back.I closed my eyes and fell asleep quickly.I hope nothing changes ever again, because right no everything was ok.It was perfect.
