When Snow meets Wisteria

The Talk With Shinobu

Akaza walked and knocked on the door which he hoped led to Shinobus office, he had already entered the wrong room twice now and didn't want it to happen a third time.After a couple of seconds Shinobu opened the door and looked up at him "ah Akaza what can I do for you?" She said her eerie smile just as off putting as always "Ah I was wondering if I would be able to work here at least part time" he said Shinobu simply hummed and features for him to go into her office so he did. "Take a seat" she said gesturing to a seat that was across from a desk.The room was full of weird all sorts of  medical equipment from weighing scales to microscopes and all sorts of other things he didn't recognise, the room also smelt strongly of  whisteria. " So then Akaza do you have any medical experience?" Shinobu asked while she pulled out a pen and paper and joted down some measurements from one of her machines. " Yes I do I have trained under multiple doctors" answered Akaza Shinobu once again hummed as she wrote down some more numbers "then that should be fine but what exactly have you been trained to do?"She asked "well I can do the basics cleaning wounds and rewrapping them and such as well as other things" he said.She nodded her head seemingly pleased with the answer "alright then!Last question!What can you tell me about the demon you faced?" Her tone became sinister when she asked the question.He raised his eyebrow "Why are you so interested" he asked "well it's personal, but do you want the job or not?" She asked tilting her head to the side slightly.Akaz sighed "what do you want to know?" "Everything.Down to the very last detail.Exept his appearance.I already know that." Ah, Akaza thought she has seen this demon before "He is a demon who holds the rank  uppermoon 2.He fights with two golden fans which he uses very effectively in close combat.His blood demon art is ice based and can be used for long and short ranged attacks, contact with the ice also seems to freeze you.There that's all I have" he said "now do I have the job?" She thought for a moment nodding to herself "of course you do your obviously qualified" she stuck out one of her hands for him to shake " you can start once your uniform arrives,  I'll need you to write down your measurements aswell" she said.Akaza nodded and grabbed her hand giving it a shake before letting go.She hands him a piece of paper and pen and he takes it and writes down his measurements before handing them back to her.Shinobu walks over to the boot and opens it gesturing for him to get out.He simply walk is out and before Shinobu closes the door she says a quite "thank you" before shutting the door.Akaza just stood there confused, why did she thank him?He didn't do anything beside answer her questions.But there was that one question about the demon, what was she planning.He narrowed his eyes and started at the door before walking away back to his designated room.

When he entered the room he was surprised to see a certain flame hashira to be in his room. "Hello Akaza!!!" He yelled.Akaza closed the door and then walked over to him hand on his hip. "Shouldn't you be in your room Kyojuro?" Akaza said.Rengoku didn't even think before answering "Yes I suppose I should!!!But your room is nicer!!!" He said loudly.Akaza sighed "how is my room nicer?All the rooms are the same" Rengoku looked at him as off it was obvious "It's nicer because your in here!!" He said.Rengoku liked to be in this room because he's in here?He wasn't expecting that , not at all. "So you like it because I'm in here?" Rengoku nodded "what if I was in your room?"He asked "well then I would stay in that room!!!" He said confidently.Akaza just shook his head "I can't with you sometimes" he said with a smile on his face. "I hope you don't mind having a roommate!!!" Yelled Rengoku "no.I don't mind at all....not if it's you" he added the last part quietly hoping Rengoku didn't hear it, he didn't react when he said it so he is going to assume he didn't hear it at all."Hmm the bed is a little small for two but I'm sure we can manage!!!" Rengoku said hands on his hips. "Um I could always sleep on the floor" Akaza said.Rengoku looked at him as if he had just said he would become a demon "nonsense this is your room after all!!!We can always share the bed , we ready have after all!!!" He said, And that was true.They had shared a bed just last night and that ended pretty well, Akaza had the best nights sleep he'd had in ages that night and so did Rengoku.They both enjoyed sharing a bed with the other, but neither of them would admit this they didn't want it to get in the way of their friendship and make things awkward between them since the both enjoyed the others company.A little to much honestly. "Well...yeah" Akaza replied a light blush spreading across his cheeks. "Well it is decided then!!!" Said Rengoku As he lifted up the sheets "are you going in?!?Because I am!!" He said.Akaza took a moment to prepare himself emotionally for this moment before walking over to the bed that rengoku was now lying in and getting in himself.He turned so that his back was facing Rengoku and closed his eyes. Meanwhile Rengoku lay there staring at Akazas back.Maybe this was going a little to far?He didn't want to make him uncomfortable, maybe he should apologise in the morning.Yeah that's a good idea apologise in the morning.

Late into the night when both of  them were deep in sleep they were unaware of a certain demon watching through the unblocked  window on a whisteria tree ,as they had forgotten to close the blinds.The demon smiled and breathed in the scent of whisteria and grinned loving the slight burn it gave him when he breathed it in , but also the image of the two in bed together.Such a pity that it would have to end the way it did , maybe they would give these little humans just a little longer.Just to have some more happy memories ,before he carried out their mission of course.But after all whatever the master wants  he gets.
