Across the shore, in the beach, it is a lovely and beautiful place
But its not the scenery that made it perfect, it was the smile on your face..
The waters touching the sand, your laughter that filled the air
I can name all the pretty things in here, but I just cant help but stare
Into your beautiful eyes that shine like a pearl in the sea
Just being with you, oh how it makes me feel alive and free!
My heart wants to dance, my arms want to hug you forever
How enchanting would it be if the both of us could be together
But like the ocean, the waters need to leave the sand
Even if my heart wants to stay, I need to let go of your hand
I need to find my way back to myself, and love what I am and what I'm to be
But I hope you'll still be here, in the time my heart feels ready..
