What if in your eyes, I wasn't really part of your plan

What if my heart broke, and you're not there to tend
Tend to it with time, like the time from me you were given
Tend to the heart that you controlled, the heart that was madly driven
So like I was told, only fools rush in
I guess I'm the fool, the fool that by my own heart, cant be forgiven
