Y/N groaned as Marvel tied the bandage around her throat too tight. "Be careful, jeez," Y/N grumbled, faintly wheezing.

Marvel was tasked with changing Y/N's bandages, despite her being able to do it herself. No matter how often she refused his aid, he never backed down.

Y/N glanced to the side, spotting Cato with Glimmer. Usually, she'd be alright with that, but Cato had his arm around Glimmer, and she was laughing at something he said. Y/N gritted her teeth together as she silently seethed. Marvel noticed but didn't say a word.

"When did they get so close?" Y/N muttered, glancing at the District One boy.

"I don't know. When you walked off alone, they already seemed pretty comfortable with each other." Marvel shrugged as he finished his job. He wiped his ointment-covered hands on his shirt, sighing.

"Cato," Y/N called out, annoyed when the blond didn't turn his head to look at her, "Hey, Cato!" She said, louder this time. That caught his attention.

"One minute, Y/N." He uttered, instantly giving Glimmer his undivided attention again. Y/N scoffed in disbelief, rolling her eyes.

"Boys." She grumbled, aggressively scratching the side of her neck. "Where's Clove?" She questioned, looking at Marvel. He silently pointed at the forest. Y/N heard a faint scream, then a canon, no doubt Clove being the cause. "I'll be back." She muttered, speed-walking towards where she heard the scream.

"I don't think that's a good idea- She's not listening to me. Of course." Marvel sighed, shaking his head.

"Clove," Y/N approached the brunette, violently stabbing her spear into the ground beside the dead tribute.

"Hey. What's up?" Clove leaned against a nearby tree, cleaning her bloodied knife with her shirt.

"Does Cato seem..." Y/N forced herself to choke out her following words, "Interested in Glimmer? Like, at all?" Clove lifted her head, her eyes shining in amusement.

"Oh, I see. You're jealous." She teasingly pointed the blade at Y/N.

"I'm not."

"No, you are. You're clenching your firsts so hard you may as well draw blood."

Y/N looked down at her hands, realizing what she was doing. She hadn't even noticed. Y/N uncurled her hands and clicked her tongue. "I'm not jealous." She repeated, folding her arms over her chest, "I simply want to know."

"What if I said yes? What would you do?" Clove tilted her head to the side, slightly smirking.

"Nothing. I'm not jealous." Y/N uttered, clenching her jaw in annoyance and frustration.

"I think I saw Cato and Glimmer kissing once. How do you feel about that?" Clove was lying, but Y/N didn't seem to notice.

Y/N stared at Clove with a tense smile. Her eye twitched. "Perfectly fine." She spat, gritting her teeth together.

"If you say so." Clove muttered, not believing Y/N for a second. She released a heavy sigh. "Have you seen the girl from District Twelve anywhere?" She questioned, tilting her head.
