You opened your eyes, all your other senses clicking in. The soft feel of cushions and a blanket, the slight mumbling and whispers around you, the smell of dust and deodorant.

You cautiously sat up holding onto the rug that now layed across your shoulders, giving you warmth. You couldn't remember much of yesterday, though you could remember meeting Dewdrop and him helping you, after that, not much else. The last 12 hours felt hazy and unclear, your mind feeling strange ((headcanon page coming soon)).

"Hey y/n, good to see your awake" a voice spoke up. You followed the sound to locate who greeted you, seeing a tall man with no shoes wearing some costume it seemed. What was his name again? Ah right Mountain.

"Um hi, what's the time?" You asked unsure of what else to say. You were a little scared since everything was foggy.

"Y/n your awake! There's some really important things I wanted to talk with you about!" And that was Dew, how could you forget him.

"It's 9:27 ...pm..." You heard his quiet voice mutter. You were surprised at how late it was but didn't let it show.

"Thanks Mountain" you answer him first seeing as Dew had decided to butt in oh so rudely. Doing this earns a small smile from Mountain, but not Dew...

"...HEY! THAT IS UNCALLED FOR" you hear Dew screech into both your own and Mountains ears. "I wanted to be the first to greet you, given that I met you first" he muttered a bit quieter, pouting in your direction.

"Well wait your turn" you pause, checking your nails and rubbing your eyes before continuing, "what was it you wanted to talk with me for?"

You saw Dew mutter to himself before addressing you, "that was rude, and that's a thing best private, just in case. There's also a few others who will be there though, they kinda of run the place so it's also up to them. But I have already talked to them and we just need your input now."

"...Ok then, when do we go?" You had paused before answering. You were unsure, but you still wanted to give these people a chance. Seeing as they did give you a place to sleep and saved you from a bad situation.

"Oh umm, now if you want?" He said surprised you were agreeing and not more wary. It made him happy that you trusted him; if his tail was out it would be swaying.

You were currently staring into his eyes noting the small red flakes and gold spots, unaware he had said something. Everyone else in the room seemed to disappear as you stared into them. He had really pretty eyes. You hadn't even realised you were doing it.

As you stared at him, his mind was racing, what were you thinking about, were you changing your mind? He felt a small blush creep up his neck and cheeks as he looked away not wanting you to see it.

"Right! Yep let's go now!" You said quickly, snapping out of it, seeing he had turned away making you feel embarrassed. Getting up leaving your warm spot in the couch, the two of you head into the hallways, saying bye to Mountain and anyone else,
Rain you think. You following behind Dew as he powered on ahead, eager to get there.
