"I found one!" I called out excitedly as I bent down to pick up a shiny little crystal that was peeking out the dirt. Turning around I showed Cirrus who had ran over, when she confirmed it was a crystal she scowled.

"How do you keep finding them? I swear you're placing them then pretending to pick them up again!" She growled, mentally tallying another point to my score. Cirrus was badly losing in this mini competition, what made it worse was that she proposed the idea.

"Sucks to be you I guess" I looked up at her, putting the gem into my little satchel. Her tail was lashing as she looked down at my cheeky grin, knowing she wouldn't do anything to hurt me. I was swaying back and forth on the spot, going up on my tippy toes before back on my heels, just waiting for her to do something.

"You're lucky my cloud that you aren't Sodo right now. Otherwise you could be up in a tree and I would leave you." With that she stomped off. As she walked away I noticed the wind pick up around her and how her hair was turning darker. I lost my grin upon realising she was genuinely upset.

My pupils dilated in curiousity so I followed after her. "Circy! Wait up!" I called before she could get too far, jogging to catch up. She doesn't seem to slow down even as I call for her which makes me worry. When I do manage to catch up I wrap my arms around her waist to make her stop. "I was speaking to you."

"Oh really? I didn't notice" She replies sarcastically, the wind picking up.

I hold her steady in my arms, not letting her walk away. "Tell me what's wrong" I say firmly, my tail entwining with her's.

"Nothings wrong. I'm fine-"

"You're not fine," I cut her off. "The wind gives you away, along with your hair." I keep my tone calm as I try to soothe her, watching as he hair returns to a softer grey.

A pout purses her lips as she turns around so that we are facing one another. "I don't like that you're winning" Cirrus finally admits. She avoided looking directly in my eyes when she did but I could feel her calm.

"You do know that you're gonna end up with all the crystals anyway, right?" I remind her speaking softly and right below her ear since she was taller than me. Her cheeks grew warm and she finally looked down at me. By now her hair was back to white, the wind having died down with her settling mood. I smiled and kissed her neck, then her lips when she leaned down so I could do so.

"You can be so annoying y/n" Her smile returned to her face with her sharp canines peaking over her lip.

"You love me" I tease as I let her go. "I think that's enough crystal collecting for one night... And I did win" I laugh as a black streak comes back to her hair.

"Yeah yeah, let's go already" Cirrus takes my hand as we walk out of the forest. "You really do get on my nerves lovey."

"You're the one who let's me so easily" Our tails are still together while we walk back to the ministry, my satchel of crystals much heavier than hers.

Yep sorry I was gone for so long, I'm not sure if I will be back to posting regularly but hopefully you have enjoyed this much shorter story.

Its been a while since I last wrote or even read fanfic so I am a bit out of touch but oh well anywayyyyy~
