"Come on skönhet, I know you will love it!" I pleaded with y/n just wanting them to come with me. "Pleaseee, I won't let go of youuuu I promiseeee"
"Rainnnn, I'm sorry I'm tiredddd" y/n insisted not wanting to.
"It's only a little swim! Come onnnn, I really need the energy, plus the water will be beautiful by now!" I now sat ontop of y/n, my head under their chin and I nuzzled into their neck. "Please, for me?"
"*Sigh* fine, but only cause I can't say no when you look at me like that" they finally agreed and gave me a kiss on the forehead before pushing me off. "I guess I will go change then"
"YES! THANKYOU Y/N!" I ran off, going to my room to quickly change, meeting y/n in the hallway. There was nothing really special tonight, just it was the start of spring so it's the best time to swim. Being a water ghoul I felt the need to swim tonight but I didn't want to go alone so I had been begging y/n to go with me.
"If it's cold I will drown you" I heard them mutter as they pulled thier towel around their neck over their shoulders.
"Ha you can try! Water ghoul remember," I said back snarkily giving my skönet a pat on the head. "But thankyou, I do appreciate you doing this"
"It's ok little Raindrop, but I wasn't kidding"
"Yeah yeah, sure, you love me too much"

Pov -first
"Why is your garden so far away again?" I questioned Rain as we walked to his private garden. The sun was currently setting making a beautiful scene in the sky.
"Because it's where you and Mountain put it, that's why"
"Ok you win this time"
"I always win skönhet, you know this" he said unwrapping his tail from my arm and running ahead of me to get there first.
"You little- RAIN!" I chased after him, my tail swishing angrily behind me ((any type of ghoul you want to be)).

"I swear you are the most chaotic ghoul and that's saying something"
"Nooo I'm just in a good mood, springs here, we just finished a really good ritual, I have my favourite ghoul swimming with me, I could go on" Rain said coming closer to me in the water before diving below.
"What is he... AH! I burst out laughing as Rain shot up out of the water holding my legs and laughing. ((I literally can not find a reference photo, if someone can somehow find one pls send it to me))

We sat in the water for what felt like hours, watching the sunset slowly shift into a dark navy sky filled with stars. When the water became to cold we dried off and went to sit in the tent, filled with pillows, rugs and fairy lights.

We layed in comfortable silence, listening to our breaths and the noises of the night calm us to sleep. Rain had his head on my chest, me playing with his hair while he pulled the rug up over us more.
"Thankyou for doing this with me skönhet" I heard him say not seeing his content smile.
"Always my Raindrop, I love you"
"I love you too y/n"

Just a small little chapter today to keep myself happy. I am glad to say that it turned into something I call good while keeping my original idea
