3rd Pov

Teams LADR and RWBY, Qrow, Oscar, Ariel, Owen, Razor and Maria are seen standing outside of the gates to the Atlesian Military base on the island off the coast of Argus, where the gates have just been shut right before their faces.

Josh: "Look at that, aren't we off to a good start already..."

Josh sarcastically comments as he crosses his arms in irritation.

Yang then puts her hands on the bars of the gate to speak to the guards.

Yang: "Come on! You didn't even hear us out!"

First Guard: "Our orders are clear: The Mistral-Atlas border is closed!"

One of the two identical guards behind the gate spoke.

First Guard: "Please-"

Second Guard: "-Have a good day!"

Yang: "But-"

Both Guards: "A good day!!"

Qrow: "Hey, If you don't wanna believe that I'm friends with Ironwood-"

Both Guards: "-General Ironwood!"

The two guards simultaneously corrected.

Qrow: "Yeah, General Ironwood, then fine. But look, we have Weiss Schnee with us and we're trying to get her home safely."

Weiss looks down with reluctance upon hearing Qrow say that.

The two guards look to each other before turning their attention back to the group.

Both Guards: "Approach!"

Weiss shares a look with Raiden and Blake, who both shrug. Both Weiss then walk up to the gate and the two guards step up and bend down to inspect her. After a moment, both guards stand straight back up.

Both Guards: "Very well!"

First Guard: "You may speak with our commanding officer!"

Second Guard: "We will fetch her at once!"

The two guards turn around in sync, and chant "Hup hup hup" and "Atlas Atlas Atlas" as they run to get their superior.

Blake stared at the two guards as they disappeared somewhere.

Blake: "They were... kind of-"

Ruby: "Super weird? Uh, yeah."

Ruby cuts in.

Cyra: "Not to mention over the top."

Razor: "Yep..."

Maria: "Hmm..."

The old woman narrows her prosthetics eyes, as if in deep thought.

Oscar: "What's wrong?"

Maria: "Well, I... may know this commanding officer..."

Maria says, rubbing her head.

Ruby: "That's good, isn't it? If she's your friend, then maybe she'd be more willing to help us."

Maria: "I wouldn't exactly call us... 'friends'."

W/R: "Acquaintances?"

Weiss and Raiden guess.

Maria: "Not quite."

B/B/O: "Colleagues?"

Blake, Brisa and Owen suggest.

Maria: "Warmer."

J/Y: "Enemies?"

Josh and Yang surmise.
