Another Day

Kara is sound asleep as Alex's arms are wrapped around her sister they usual sleep separately but Alex decided not too last night after Kara seemed upset. Alex starts to shift over to wake up for work "Kara.. we gotta get going" Kara didn't budge from her spot Alex shook Kara barely moving her "Hey Kara come on, we gotta get ready for work" Kara finally opened her eyes and stretched out a bit "Okay fine but I get the bathroom first, Alex gets annoyed but let's her little sister use the bathroom first. Kara takes a hot shower to wake up her body, Kara normally never feels this groggy unsure of what's going on. Alex grabs her bike keys and Kara is in her Super suit "Ready?" As Kara smiles at her sister "We will be late because you didn't get up in time Kara" Kara pouted a bit "I'm sorry I should've set the alarm". They reached the DEO on time, Hank disappointed in them for being almost late, "Okay Alex and Kara you two need to train together, and please don't kill each other" Alex and Kara both smiled at each other "No promises" Alex said to Hank, Hank walked off as usual "So concrete or fists today?" Kara asks Alex, I'm not sure let's see what's on the sheet for today Kara and Alex head into the training room together Alex has the kryptonite on to the lowest setting "Ready?" as Alex puts her fists up Kara smiles "Ready as ever" and Kara lunges first into Alex. The training goes on for about 30 minutes, they both went into their separate stalls to shower "You know Lena will be lucky to have you Kara" Kara starts cleaning herself "Yeah but what if she likes Supergirl more?" Alex starts to wash her hair "Look Kara before I get soap in my eyes, Lena will like you regardless of who you are" Kara laughed and super sped her shower and got ready for CatCo new journalist

Kara walked into the Miss Grants office "Kara meet Snapper he will be your new boss and he will guide you to your new career" as Kara was about to introduce herself Snapper walked off "should I follow him.." Miss Grant looked up at Kara "Yes go now before he closes his office door on you" Kara rushes to Snapper "I need you ponytail to interview Lena today on her project she has going on" Kara nods and nervously heads to L-Corp "Lena! Hey" as Kara gives Lena a hug and Lena smiles back "How is the new reporter coming along?" Kara nods "it could be worse actually, so this project what is it all about?" Lena gets excited "it's a suit I designed to protect Supergirl I want it published so my family knows to not mess with her" Kara sees the prototype "Ah that's awesome" Kara pretends she's never seen it before and asks all the questions about the suit how it activates how does Supergirl get out of the suit. Lena and Kara take a minute to pause on the reporting "Look Kara I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable during lunch" Kara smiled "No worries and when do you want to plan the date again?" Lena smiles ear to ear "Um how about tomorrow my schedule is booked today" Kara nodded back "Sure Lena I'll be happy to come over for lunch tomorrow" as Kara gets ready to leave Lena stops her and gives Kara a kiss on her cheek. Kara walked out blushing but immediately stopped when she got back to CatCo, she stayed her entire day with no interruptions.

Supergirl stopped by L-Corp with Chinese food "Lena?" she called her name out but regrets listening as she can hear Lena's heart race and her breathing quickens, Lena heard her name and quickly got dressed in her bathroom "Supergirl, sorry I was just in the bathroom" Supergirl smiled but didn't shy away with what she just heard "I brought dinner Kara said you didn't eat today" Lena adjusted her dress a bit, a bit too much for Supergirl to handle "Oh Kara is so sweet tell her I said thank you" Supergirl smiled "Will do, I'll leave.." Lena grabs onto Supergirl arm "No stay please, I'm sorry but want some company besides Kara and the meetings" Supergirl nodded and agreed to stay just only for a moment. Lena felt Supergirl bicep under hand flex when Supergirl shifted her arm back. Supergirl notices Lena shifted closer to her on the couch as tensions flare for both women, Lena leans in to kiss the Hero but Supergirl looks away "I'm sorry Supergirl how embarrassing" as Lena blushes "It's okay, but I should get back out there the city needs me" as Supergirl gets up to leave she can see Lena is still planted on the couch intoxicated with lust "Ill see you around Miss Luthor?" Lena smiled "Yes be safe Supergirl" as Lena watched Supergirl fly off she says to herself "Fuck Lena no you're dating her best friend no"
