LEXIE'S POV

The Airport

Quinn and I had just landed in Detroit and were waiting for our bags at the baggage claim. He had ordered an uber that was waiting for us outside after we had gotten our bags. Quinn gave him the address to his lake house before putting our bags in the trunk and getting in.

Our uber driver recognised Quinn when we got into the car and asked him all about the hockey season, telling him how much of a Canucks fan that he was and even asking for an autograph. Quinn smiled and gladly gave him his autograph, even taking a picture with him. He asked me who I was and why I was with Quinn so we gave him a short version of the story, telling him that I'm going to go meet all of his family and friends for a few weeks. For the rest of the car ride we looked out the window at the view, me leaning my head against his shoulder.

The Lake House

We walked out of the car and got our bags before walking up to the door and opening it. Quinn yelled hi before shutting the door behind him and putting the bags down.

"Quinn's here" a familiar voice yelled.

We were greeted by Ellen who came and gave us both big hugs and kisses on our cheeks. Behind her were a bunch of boys, some familiar and some not. Quinn walked up to say hi to Jack before greeting the girl beside him giving her a little side hug. While they said hi I walked over to Jack to say hi and give him a hug, making eye contact with the girl beside him, giving her a warm smile before Quinn came over and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Liv, this is Lexie, my girlfriend. Lexie, this is Liv, Trevors sister and Jacks girlfriend," Quinn said introducing us.

"Hi Lexie!" she said smiling.

"Hi Liv," I said returning the smile.

Quinn went around introducing me to everyone I already didn't know with me right behind them saying hi and giving big hugs to everyone. After we had said hello we grabbed our bags and walked upstairs to Quinn's room.

"So, Jack is banging Trevor's sister?" I asked him laughing.

"Yup, she makes rowdy happy though so I guess Z is okay with it" I responded, putting my bag down on the bed and opening it.

"She seems super sweet, I can't wait to get to know her better" I smiled, giving Quinn a kiss.

"What was that for" he asked.

"For bringing me here" I said softly. "And for being you".

We finished unpacking and got changed into our swim stuff. I threw on a cute beach cover up and grabbed my sunglasses before walking downstairs with Quinn. Some of the guys were helping Ellen clean up in the kitchen while the others were outside throwing a football. I found Cole sitting on the deck with a beer, so I grabbed one from the fridge and walked outside to join him.

"So you're Quinns best friend huh" I took a sip of my beer.

"Yup, and you're his soulmate I hear" he smiled.

My jaw dropped when I heard what he said, "Quinn said that?".

"Oh yeah, but don't tell him I told you" Cole said looking over at me with a big smile.

"It's good to finally meet you Cole" I said.

"I'm so glad you came Lexie, you are my new designated drinking buddy" he laughed.

Liv and Jack walked outside and sat beside us, each with a drink in their hand. I told Jack how nice it was to see him again after these months, making sure to thank Liv for helping Jack become a somewhat normal person again. Quinn came running outside with Luke closely behind him with a bucket of water.

"Lukey I'm going to beat your ass if you throw that on me" Quinn yelled.

"Worth it anyways" Luke yelled back.

The four of us giggled on the deck, watching Quinn get chased around by his youngest brother before Ellen yelled at them to stop. Luke put the bucket down and him and Quinn called a truce before they came up and joined us on the deck. Trevor turned on the speakers and played his summer playlist which was 99% Taylor Swift and 1% country that Jack probably had forced him to add. All of us sat on the deck in the couches with drinks and good music, ready to enjoy our summer.
