Lexie and Quinn's apartment
We were lying in our bed cuddling while answering all the texts we were getting. I had just posted on my instagram that we were engaged, my phone now flooding with texts and calls.
Quinn called Ellen and Jim last night on facetime right after he proposed and told them the good news before calling Luke and telling him the same. Ellen cried the second we showed her the ring, making me cry as well. Her and I had become super close over the last few months, becoming similar to a mother figure for me.
We called my dad afterwords to let him know but he didn't seem surprised at all. He told me that Quinn had asked him the other day for his blessing, which my dad agreed to as well as giving him the ring that he had proposed to my mom with.
Logan, Brock and Elias were coming over with some food later to celebrate the engagement. The two of us were cuddling in bed while I noticed Quinn falling asleep with his head resting on my chest. I played with his hair as i scrolled through my phone with my other hand. I responded to some of the comments under my recent post, laughing at some of the hate comments that people were posting.
An hour or so later I gently woke him up by kissing his forehead a few times. Our friends were coming over in about 10 minutes so I went into the kitchen to clean up lightly before Quinn joined me and started to take out some things to prepare for the drinks we were making.
Moments later our friends came walking through the door with bags of food in their hands. Brock had convinced them to go buy all of the ingredients for tacos so that we could have a big taco night at our place. I gave them all big hugs as they walked into the kitchen, putting down the food they had just bought.
Once we finished cooking and prepping everything we sat down at the table and got ready to eat. Brock and Logan were tipsy, both throwing pieces of shredded cheese at Elias who was annoyed with the both of them.
"You guys make me not want to have kids" I joked, putting some food on my plate.
"Our kids would be way more normal" Quinn responded, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
