Shan was sat in the cafeteria with her group, no one was really talking but her and Raven. I guess her friends really were emo. Too emo. She leaned towards Raven. She had been thinking about the fact that Max had possibly lied to her and it annoyed her way too much. Shan cleared her throat;
"Hey, what you said the other day.. Did Max really go with that Casey girl?"
"Um, yeah. There's a rumour that they did it. Isn't that crazy?! I thought they were both super innocent."
"I think you're the only person that thought that. Have you never spoke to Casey?" Shan shook her head and stood up, grabbing her bag
"Where are you going?!"
"Do you know where uh...Rachel Tran and Casey hang out during lunch?"
"Yeah, Rachel's at the table..over there" Raven pointed to a table in the centre of the hall which was packed with a bunch of girls that looked exactly the same. Almost like barbie dolls. Shan shivered "And Casey hangs out in the class next to our homeroom..why?"
"Don't worry 'bout it."
"Okk but if you're looking to talk to Casey I wouldn't suggest it..I mean you left with her date. So at least be nice!"
Shan nodded her head and walked away, giving Raven a thumbs up as she got further away.Shan walked over to the Barbie table and was met by a few snickers from some almost identical girls. She raised her eyebrow at them before being greeted by Rachel;
"Oh, it's you! Uh...—"
"Shan. Shan Santos."
"Yeah, you." She looked to her friend with a smile before facing Shan again. "What do you need?"
"I was wondering who you went to the prom with? It's a weird question but I just wanna be nosey." Shan was then side eyed by a few of the girls who then whispered amongst themselves.
"I went with my boyfriend? Calvin Ross. Why does this matter?"
Shan then got a sour taste in her mouth as she smiled to the girl and shook her head "It doesn't. Well, I'll be seeing you." She tapped the table before walking away and out of the cafeteria.Once she had reached the stairs leading up to the classroom she was looking for, the bell rang and a bunch of students came running down the stairs and through the halls. Shan had to push past a lot of them while shouting at some as well. People had little to no respect for her so it wasn't surprising that she had to do this. She finally reached the classroom and inhaled before opening the door and entering a very dimly lit classroom. Casey was sat on a desk, creating a bubble with some pink gum which popped when she noticed Shan. She turned around to get a good look at her before smiling.
"Well, if it isn't the queer that stole my boyfriend. Y'know, i thought since you were exclusive to girls that you wouldn't have the balls to run off with a guy."
Shan felt her stomach sink. She went poker-faced. "First of all, I'm not a 'queer' and second of all I didn't steal your fucking boyfriend."
Casey jumped up, taking a few steps towards her while she spoke. This was probably an attempt to intimidate her. "Oh, yeah? Then why would you run off with him in the middle of prom? I bet he did it easily for you."
Shan raised an eyebrow "What are you talking about?"
"Don't act dumb," Casey scoffed "you know exactly what I'm talking about. He's such a baby. I had to do everything for him, y'know. I thought men were supposed to make the first moves, not the women. He acted like he didn't want it but I know he did deep down. All boys are the same."
"What?" Shan stared whilst terror overtook her face "Are you saying..he didn't want to fuck you but your whore ass insisted? Do you know how fucked up that is?!"
Caseys mouth curved into a smile "What a baby you are, huh. Why are you so upset about it?"
"Because you can get fucking arrested for that shit?! Are you as stupid as you look?!"
"Since when? It's not wrong if I did it. I don't know what you're going on about?"
Shan pushed Casey back "No wonder he left! He didn't want to be seen next to someone like you. A sick bastard. I know your type, I know how much of a cunt you are but Jesus fucking Christ."
"Ugh, get a fucking grip you fag. There was no harm done, I know he wanted it. That's what prom couples do. He's not an idiot." Casey walked away, grabbing her bag off of the desk she was previously sat on. She was about to leave the classroom when Shan grabbed her arm.
"Stay away from him."
Casey tried her best not to laugh "Or what? Will you beat me up? Get the fuck off of me." She pulled away from Shans gripped and walked out of the classroom, leaving the door open.
Shan watched as she stopped at the top of the stairs to talk to a guy who was late to his class, shan had no idea who it was but it gave her an opportunity to do something. She grabbed a chair which was folded up in the corner of the room.
Casey stared down the hall as she boy walked to his class with a grin on her face.Shan waited for her to take a step down the stairs before clearing her throat
"Yo, Casey!"
Casey turned around and was met with Shans foot to her face. Shan kicked with all of her strength and watched as Casey tumbled down the stairs like a rag doll and once Shan was sure that she wasn't going to move anymore, she threw the folded up chair down the stairs and it landed sideways but still managed to hit her torso.
"That's what you get you little cunt!"
Shan then basically jumped down each stair and kicked the chair away from her body once she got down to her. She had assumed that Casey wouldn't get up for a while and would of been fairly knocked out by now but she thought wrong.
Casey very slowly opened her eyes and took everything in. Shan leaned down to her with a smirk before Casey jumped at Shan, pulling her by the hair.
"I'm telling fucking everyone about what you did!" Casey screamed "How dare you do that to me..or to anyone! Without a good reason too!"
Shan slammed her fist down on Caseys stomach which made her wince and let go of her hair in response to it. Shan stood up and brushed her skirt off. "Get your grubby fucking hands away from me!"
Casey rolled her eyes, she was weirdly sassy for someone in her position. "Ironic, isn't it? I bet you couldn't take your hands off of—"
Shan didn't want to know what the end of her sentence was, so she kicked her jaw as hard as possible out of impulse to shut her up.
Casey screamed at the top of her lungs, putting her hand over her face. Shan rolled her eyes.
"WHATTHEFUCKISWRONGWITHYOU?!?!"
Shan shrugged as she stared at her, waiting to see what else she would come off with. She leaned forward a little and noticed blood dripping down Caseys chin. This made Shan tense up at the pure sight of it, she then realised the severity of everything she had just done.
Casey tried to insult her further but kept slurring over her words which made them hard to understand. She inhaled and spoke up once more whilst Shan tried her best to listen. "This is why no one likes you, you and your faggy friends. Didn't you have a girlfriend too? I know about her. Im one of the only ones that knows now but after this everyone will. Believe me. And she bragged to the girl she was cheating on you with about what she did..and you know what? You had what was coming."It was silent for a minute
Shan had knew exactly what happened to her due to Jessica aka the girl that Margo was still seeing. Apparently something has scared her into fessing up about it. Casey looked to Shan as if she was waiting for her to do something else, as if she wanted her to. Casey weakly laughed Shan lifted her foot above Caseys head and started slamming it down on her face over and over and over again. Shan was kind of zoned out while doing it and almost didn't hear someones foot steps slamming down the hall. She wasn't surprised by this since the little bitch had one of the loudest screams she had ever heard. It almost actually hurt Shans ears.
She kept going until someone grabbed her arm, pulling her back with an insanely tight grip.
Shan looked to them and her face dropped when she saw Max, she instantly looked away and put her head down. Suddenly she felt a little bit of regret for what she did and she felt her whole face grow warm. But she also felt the opposite way? Seeing his made her glad that she did it, it made her happy that she had maybe fucked that girls face up. Shan was about to speak when a few teachers started opening up the doors to their classrooms followed by students yelling and asking what was happening. Shan panicked. She knew that this wasn't going to go down well for her at home, or with the school but she knew there wasn't much she could do now and that there was no going back. Shan stuttered before forcing a few words out.
"I know what she did. I know it's creepy but, I did it for—"
Then she was dragged out of the hallway and to god knows where, but she didn't care. She was getting out of this.
