"I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying."

Shan waited until someone opened the door and to her delight it was Max, she felt a shiver run up her spine at the sight of him and a smile crossed her face.
Max stared at her, not uttering a word.
"Max! I, um.... I'm sorry for what I did. But if you'll just hear me out—"
"Maxxx!!" A voice called out from behind him, Shans face dropped slightly upon hearing it. She waited until Casey came up behind Max, placing her hand on his shoulder "Who's there?" She had a smile on her face until she saw Shan standing there. Casey took a step back and before she could speak, Shan did herself;
"What the fuck is she doing here?!"
Casey scoffed "What the fuck are you doing here?! Did you not learn your lesson the other day? He. Doesn't. Want. You."
Shan looked to Max and then Casey with a sickened expression "Well.." she hesitated before shaking her head "I don't want him either?! I don't like him like that." Shan folded her arm while biting her bottom lip.
"I'm sure you don't. Look at your face you lying little pig. He's taken, so run along."
"I was here to talk to him. Without you here."
The two argued back and forth, not giving Max a chance to butt in, but he didn't look like he wanted to. Shan finally had enough and glared at Casey, her fists clenching almost automatically as she did so.
"If you don't shut your cock sucking mouth I will do exactly what I did before but this time no one will be saving you."
"Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try."
Shan took a step forward, raising her fist before it was grabbed and she was pulled by it, she looked at Max in panic as he stared daggers at her. He grabbed her arm and slammed his front door shut, taking her out into the garden.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Max yelled, his nostrils flaring and his face reddening as he did so.
Shan shook her head, taking a step towards him "What the fuck is wrong with you?! I didn't get on like this when you beat Margo up, and they're basically the same person. But Casey is ten times fucking worse!?"
"What the fuck are you goin' on about?"
"I had a reason, Max. And you know I did."
Max inhaled, he looked like a blood vessel was about to pop. Shan felt her eyelids droop as she breathed
"I know what she did to you. She told me herself."
Maxs face went slightly pale when she spoke, it was completely silent other than the rain and his heavy breathing. "I don't know what you're fucking talking about, Shan." It would've worked if his face didn't look like he had seen a ghost.
"Look at your face. Do you think I'm that much of an idiot. I know what she's doing, I know what she did. That's why I did what I did. I wouldn't do it for no fucking reason."
Max just stared at her, they were both soaked now. The rain was getting heavier by the minute.
Shan hesitated before taking a step towards him, she gave him a sympathetic look.
"Max," she folded her arms "you do know that it's still wrong, right? Even if a girl did it to you."
Max inhaled again, he looked like he wanted to interject but nothing seemed to come out of his mouth.
"Please, don't keep denying it. I know what happened and it was still wrong. She made you do it. It's a terrible thing to go through and you're incredibly valid even if a girl did it to you or not. I know it's hard to talk about, believe me, but you can't stay with someone who has done this to you. Even if you really like her, which, I'm assuming you do. I know we don't really talk but I do genuinely want what's best for you and I don't want you to stay with someone who is quite  literally a spawn of satan. But it doesn't matter what I want. It's what you want but please listen to me when I say that you're allowed to talk about things and express your emotions. I'm.."
Shan shook her head "I'm here for you, it might be a bit uncomfortable to be talking to me about stuff but I am here for you if you need it. I bet a lot of other people are too. You're a good person, y'know. I'm sure your friends would want you to be ok."

They both stared at each other for a moment as the rain got lighter.
