He is secretly a huge nerd. Even though he left the snail farm, he still loves snails and actually knows a lot about them. He doesn't know much about any from the surface so he often researches specific species of snails to learn. Also, he owns a Sega Dreamcast. It's old but, he has a few games. He found them in the dump once and decided to try them. He does enjoy magical girl anime and is a collector. He never told Alphys after she showed him Sailor Moon. So if you ever see his room at all, you'll see a large terrarium of snails, an old Sega console, and a bunch of magical girl figures.
