I decided to end this book here. It's already jammed pack with lots of Kaitlin's adventures, and a couple shared adventures with her mate, Sethan. It's also over the average amount of total words in a novel... oopsie. In my mind, I had it planned out more like a tv show with different episodes.
I originally opted into including the fated mates bit because the idea of being fated to someone who you didn't want to be intrigued me. Though I had some mixed feelings about writing a book where werewolves are aware of who their soulmates are... But since it irritated one of my main characters, something I like doing, go figure, I went with it. The whole gimmick doesn't reflect real life so I hoped you enjoyed the concept of both main characters being more in control of themselves, and stable enough to be capable of rejecting the other.
It took a few chapters to get Sethan to warm up to Kaitlin and a lot of chapters for Kaitlin to see that Sethan was actually pursuing her as a potential partner. I didn't want them getting together to be forced, and fake, but rather, natural and inevitable. Because of that, I must say, thank you for reading this far.
Sethan just about got some action near the end, wink, wink. Well almost. Sethan and I wanted to make Sethan and Kaitlin's first time together special so we kept delaying it, delaying it, and delaying it and somehow it got pushed to a second book. Yes, there's a second part. You can think of this as part 1 (draft form). We'll get answers in part 2 and a lot more spice. The flow, I'm finding, is faster.
Quinn, Adonis, Shaw and Leon characters will get more build up. The twins and Bastian as well. Broken Mikhailov who finally got broken out did not have any talking lines in part 1 but will finally get a chance to speak in part 2 in human form. The fae Queen will also appear.
More importantly, the secret behind Kaitlin's birth, the death of her parents will later be revealed, what she has become, along with the whereabouts of Augustus, the Marrok and the Beast Lord's reaction to Kellan's past actions, Javier's memories, what the heck Cyrus has been doing behind the scenes, and if Kaitlin ever fully mates Sethan.
