Beginning of us

In Lawrence's name, a tale I weave,
A little masculine form, stands out in my mind.
His voice, angelic and pure as a breeze,
As he speaks, my senses in ecstasy bind.

Each day, like yesterday, in my mind's eye,
Your existence, no doubt, a constant delight.
Our pacing, like friends, is good, no lie,
A bond that grows stronger with each passing night.

No awkwardness, just a normal person you seem,
Talking and chit-chatting about trivial things.
No selfishness, just an urge to help and gleam,
Assisting with your trouble, your needs I bring.

Ah! This feels right, no rush to force,
Just waiting for the comet to collide, With your heart that knows what I endorse,
As I meet you, with nothing to hide.

You make me feel different, like an introvert,
Now calling for your attention and care.
No longer selfish, but waiting, never to hurt,
For you to need me, my dear and my flair.

Oh Lawrence, our story, just begun,
The beginning, a flow, only time can tell.
Our future may be already held, waiting for none,
For that future to be you and me, to dwell.
