Why the glare?

I stood there, bewildered and perplexed,
Uncertain if I should be vexed.
You looked my way, but why the glare?
Was it just friendship or something rare?

Your gaze was fixed, intense and strong,
You didn't look away, all night long.
You beamed and blasted with a smile,
Leaving me unable to look for a while.

I searched and browsed, but there you were,
Beholding me with a gaze so pure.
That smile, I loved, it lit up the room,
But I looked away, my face in a bloom.

As night fell and darkness crept in,
I lay in bed, trapped in my own sin. Overthinking, drowning in my thoughts,
Unable to free myself from this knot.

As three royals

Oh, how I abhor this, these mixed signals you send,
It's driving me crazy, my mind cannot comprehend.
Why do you toy with me, or put me to the test?
I, the three royals of you, must choose or be distressed.

Choose, or chose, the decision cuts me deep,
Like a wound that never heals, the pain I cannot sleep.
It hurts me deeply, this uncertainty you bring,
Tears my heart asunder, my soul takes a stinging.

Oh, why can't you make up your mind,
And let me know what I'm to find?
Am I the one you truly seek, Or just another lover that's meek?

But until you decide, I'll remain in this strife,
Wrestling with my emotions, this turmoil is rife.
For I am the three royals of you, and must choose,
Even if the pain cuts deep, my heart I cannot lose.
