CASTAWAY || Inanimate Insanity AU

CHAPTER 1

Warning: You better read that description first. Also some blood.

It was a bright beautiful day for the gang and Paintbrush. Everyone was in the backyard of Paintbrush's house, getting ready for the beach day. The house was in an empty landscape with no other houses around. The landscape was clean, the grass looked like it was cut off by the lawn mower, and it was slightly wet. The house also looked nice, it was dark red, made out of bricks, two stories tall, and had a chimney. Paintbrush was checking the car, Test Tube was making sure everything was in place, Lightbulb was talking to Bot, Marshmallow moving item after item, and Fan was checking his blogs. It was just a group of talking inanimate objects with soft black thin limbs: A paintbrush, a yellow bright lightbulb, a test tube with a green liquid inside, a red paper fan, a white marshmallow, and a robotic blue bow tie created by Test Tube. They were all excited about the trip to the beach since it was their first time going together.
"Paintbrush, thanks for letting us stay here for the night. We really got tired from our schedules." Said Bot and Lightbulb, walking over to Paintbrush and smiling at them.
"Well, anything for my friends. Well, not anything, anything, but you know what I mean!" said Paintbrush with a nervous smile, trying to fix the tires under the car. The car doesn't seem to be operating, but Paintbrush tries their best to fix it before heading off. They didn't want any problems along the way to the beach, and that's why the gang slept this night. They originally planned to go to the beach yesterday, but the car didn't operate that day.
"Yeah, Painty! It's going to be the best day of our lives!" Lightbulb jumped as she was excited about the beach day, and thinking about the memories she is about to have over there. The memories she will keep forever like her other memories in the past.
"Oh, Lightbulb. I'm just glad everyone is excited about this."

While Lightbulb was looking in the other direction, Bot looked over to Paintbrush and realized they were sweating. She was getting a bit concerned, so she asked something to make sure.
"Are you excited, Paintbrush?" Asked Bot, seeing how they will respond to that question. Paintbrush turned around to Bot and stopped fixing the car.
"Oh, me? Yeah, I just had to fix this silly old car. I don't want anything to go wrong." Bot and Lightbulb then went back to talking to each other again just to not interrupt Paintbrush anymore. After Marshmallow was finished moving items into the car, the gang was ready to go. The car was big enough for the entire group, and their items were twice their size.
"Alright, I think we're ready! I can't wait to have fun with my buddies, and explore the ocean because why not?" said Test Tube, being the first to get into the car as she steps in.
"Honestly, this sounds like blogging fun!" said Fan, now getting odd looks from everyone else.
"Sorry. Haha..." Marshmallow then went inside the car right after Fan went in, and sat down next to him and Test Tube. They both moved over to the left just so Marshmallow can fit in.
"Well, I'm just glad to get a break after that long week working with Bow. Her and her commercials." Test Tube then responded to that by saying they should make a commercial about chemistry instead. Marshmallow rolled her eyes, facepalm and sighed, "I will see if she wants to." The green liquid tube smiled happily, and everyone else got into the car. Paintbrush, put on their seat belt, started the engine, and the gang was ready to head off to the beach.

The day was still moving by as Paintbrush was driving the car. They were passing through the few pine trees across the road. The sun shone through the ground, and the birds sang through the sky. Everything was going alright for Paintbrush and the group. They were all talking while Paintbrush was just driving peacefully.

That is until...

A rock.

A huge rock was in the road and Paintbrush saw it from afar, so they turned the car to avoid the rock as the car was now hitting the grass. After passing the rock, they drive back on the road by turning the steering wheel. Paintbrush calmed down and so did the others.
"Omga, the car could have exploded." Said Lightbulb in her calm voice, knowing that not every path is safe proof.
"Well, at least it didn't! I'm sorry guys, it's just that... I'm pretty sure this is the right pathway to get to the beach... I think." Paintbrush was keeping their eyes on the gray road, and making sure nothing else went wrong.
"I have double-checked for you. It should be the right path. It says so on the map." Test Tube then looks over another copy of the map from her backpack to see if she was right. After the car went back on the road, Paintbrush noticed something from afar again.
"Oh... no." It was a huge rock again, but more of them. One rock to the left, one rock to the right, and one rock further back in the middle. Making the realization that Paintbrush and Test Tube were on the wrong path to the beach. Paintbrush tried stopping the car, but, unfortunately, it didn't do anything. They couldn't turn back in the opposite direction either because the area was too small to make a full turn.
"Oh, no... TEST TUBE WHAT SHOULD WE DO?!" Test Tube tries taking out items from her small backpack as she was looking for something.
"Well-" The car bounced roughly which caused Test Tube to partly shattered as she touched the ceiling. Now Test Tube was unresponsive, partly shattered, and Fan started crying. Everyone was starting to panic, and Bot was beginning to shake badly too. Without a second to lose, Paintbrush made a small turn again and went back on the grass grounds again. Rocks were still on the road, so there was no doubt that they couldn't go back on the road. As they were thinking things couldn't get any worse, they saw something ahead of them, and it was not the rocks this time.

It was the Fall End.

The Fall End was the dead end of the road, and it leads to the underground caves. Falling through it will just be a hole to hell. Everyone tries to escape through the car doors, but it is locked. Paintbrush tried to use the button to unlock the doors, but it didn't work.
"Stupid button, stupid button, stupid button!" Without being able to open the doors, they tried breaking it down instead, but it was useless. As the only scientist is brain dead, the doors are locked, hard to break down, even crashing into a tree won't do much because their special car will explode easily. When the car bounced again, Lightbulb hit the ceiling hard, and it partly shattered her. She touched her forehead and realized the blood coming out. The headache was coming in and she just closed her eyes without emotion. Paintbrush, seeing their closest friend now injured horribly, didn't sit well with them. This made Paintbrush outraged, and their hair lit up on fire. Smoke came out, and it created a hole through the ceiling of the car. Finally, an exit was created, and Paintbrush escaped through it.
"LIGHTBULB, COME OVER PLEASE." Yelled Paintbrush as Lightbulb was the closest to them. As if they were going to get out of the problem, the car bounced a third time, and Paintbrush fell to the ground. Paintbrush started to bleed, and their head was injured. Lightbulb quickly got out of the car and was now on top of it. Hope was reaching, but it was all too late.

The car made it to the Fall End.

Crashing was heard, screaming was heard, and before Paintbrush got any closer. An explosion appeared right in front of them, and it was a big one. Paintbrush landed on the hard concrete road from the pressure of the explosion, and smoke was now coming out. The rain came, and Paintbrush just looked at the smoke vanishing right after they slowly got up.

"Like the castaway birds... There was only one... Why?..."

They started crying, hoping to have a good time with their friends, with their partner. Instead, everything ended in flames, and all their hearts were shattered. Ashes were in the air, and Paintbrush just stood there. For hours and hours looking at the Fall End, and getting closer to it. Once Paintbrush looked at the underground hole, they saw nothing, but a huge black print and car pieces. The car pieces were all over the place, and so were the remains of their friends. Shattered glass, black goo, burned paper, and robotic parts all over the place. Paintbrush looked down for a minute until they looked back to the hell-rise roadway. Their blood dripped through the ground and tears fell from their eyes. Paintbrush was now having heartache from the crying, and they hit the hard concrete road again.

But this time...

They pass out.

Summary:

Paintbrush and their friends went on a beach day until they went down the wrong path. They couldn't escape and the only one who survived was Paintbrush. As they saw their friends disappear, they had a heartache and passed out.
