🌸 Annie 🌸
Something snapped Annie out of her dormant state. There was not a single noise, but a growing feeling inside told her, she needed to get on the move and she did.
The reminder of her situation came back stabbing her soul and drowning her will to comeback. Her life was a lie. Were was the beginning of the truth and were was the beginning of the lies surrounding her life. She didn't even knew where she belonged or what she was, but Tom and Lina pretended , she could somehow reverse the situation of their society.
'No, I don't want to wake up!'
Annie shook her head and closed her eyelids tightly hoping to get back into a deep slumber, but she was pulled back again from it.
"Annie wake up."
This time she heard the voice. Annie shook her head vigorously. "why should I? What do I have left? No one is waiting for me. The world won't miss me when they have you, Leah."
"Luc and Julie, are you leaving them behind?" the voice became louder sending an electricity shock into Annie's brain.
Enraged, Annie opened her eyes. "They don't remember me!!!!!" She screamed into nothingness. "I have nobody!!! I'm alone. You heat me! Alone!"
" Not by choice... they didn't get to chose. Get stronger and get them back. Take your family back." Leah had a point. Her siblings were coerced to forget her.
'What I am supposed to do? Abolishing laws and charge a whole system. Do you even understand the implications of that statement?'
"Well it will take time, but you have me."
Annie laughed.
"As if... you fight day in and out just to get a hold on body. If I remain here, you would get your wish. You know that I am not even welcome in my own body."
" I need you. I, I am the heart, but you are the head, one cannot exist without the other. A soul within a soul, bound forever. We must be one. Let's make peace." she purred in a mellow voice.
Annie smiled.
"You are a light in the darkness today. You know, I have to admit that I am not good at showing my emotions, but I've felt alive since you came.'
" Well if you want to remain alive, we should make peace... now ... before .... We have no body left at all!" She ended with a squeak.
"Is this dark humor?
Tell me it is!
Are you attacked?"
"And I'm losing..." she squeaked again.
Annie opened her eyes and saw the shade of their souls intertwining. The world as she saw it was no longer gray, it was colourful and filled with scents and sound she never heard before.
Moving to stand on her hind paws, she felt her body morph, but couldn't assess the process. She knew it then.
"Hum... this is new!"
There was no point on holding to the past. She could only move forward and make her own path back home.
Arrows flew her way in slow motion. Her body changed again growing taller, as if in slow motion, she had enough time to catch the arrow mid air, long before it touched her. A man gave a signal.
"What are we now?" Annie asked.
"We are a full werewolf. Last time, I only grew the arms."
