Lisa couldn't believe she was even considering this.

It was all she could think about since yesterday. It's like the world was consistently playing sick jokes on her. She couldn't escape Jennie no matter how hard she tried.

Sure it wasn't everyday, but just about. If she could get up and go to the gym before work she would, but she wasn't about to sacrifice her precious sleep for that. So she had to go after work. Jennie was there sometimes, and on the days she wasn't Lisa could breathe. The weekends were always a toss up. Since summer began Saturdays have the gym more packed, but Lisa enjoyed going to people watch. That is of course, when Jennie's not there.

All Jennie does is watch her. It's really creepy. She looks at Lisa like she wants to devour her, which is so odd. It can't be real. Lisa pushed that thought to the back of her mind.

Her stupid car is the reason she's in this mess. She'd done so well avoiding her, however Lisa was severely peeved yesterday for three reasons. First, Love shit in his cage. Before she could catch him to take him outside and clean up, he was dragging his ass across her carpet leaving a brown trail behind. Second, she had to go pick up some files for her boss that just couldn't wait, which meant battling the fucking traffic to get them for his signature on Monday. Third, her piece of shit Toyota Camry started acting up. It kept shutting off and overheating.

With all of that, Lisa was so frustrated she needed to let off some steam. Years ago, she would have given into her urges to binge eat in front of the tv. Now, she tries to do anything to keep her mind from thinking about such things.

When she arrived at the gym though, and saw how busy it was, it dampened her already damp mood. There was only one treadmill open, and guess who was right there next to it in the rowing machine? A certain old bully stalker, that's who.

Jennie's piercing eyes watched every move Lisa made.

It pissed Lisa off even more. No matter how much she tried to ignore the annoying woman, their eyes kept meeting. It was infuriating.

Lisa decided she needed to put an end to this craziness.

She confronted Jennie, which only made things worse. She'd opened a new line of communication between them and now Jennie thought she could talk to her. It wasn't enough that her creepy stalker eyes watched every move she made, but weirdly enough, Lisa recognized the obvious lust in the others eyes. Again, There's no fucking way Jennie was looking at her like that. Not in a hundred years, no, a million fucking years would that ever happen.

Was she trying to flirt with her!

Really?

As if Lisa would ever find Jennie the least bit attractive.

She would never think her stupid face was beautiful. That her eyes and the way she stared sometimes made her nipples hard. That her body looked like it was sculpted by Michaelangelo or something.

Yeah, not attractive at all.

Lisa was prepared to never see the woman at all after telling her off.

In spite of it all, fate had other plans.

Lisa felt vulnerable walking toward the dog park. Love pranced ahead of her excited, and she wished she could be happy that he was happy. Unfortunately, she knew who would be there waiting for her. She wasn't scared of Jennie, in fact, she was pretty sure she could take her if it came to that. Lisa was sure it wouldn't come to that though. Jennie had been waiting for this moment, to apologize, and Lisa thought she should just let it happen so she could move forward.
