Emerald eyes fluttered open to a white ceiling, accompanied by the sound of sizzling bacon occurring from the kitchen. He immediately sat up in bed, looking around the room. The bed was a complete mess and most of the sheets had managed to fall to the floor, somehow. Some pillows were missing, propped behind the bedframe, which jogged the greenette's memory. Katsuki had placed two pillows between their bed and the wall to avoid any loud banging for their neighbors.

He glanced over to the table next to their bed, eyes landing on a used bottle of lube, sitting next to two condom wrappers. He slid out of bed, picking up Katsuki's shirt to put it on as he lazily shifted towards the hall, following the sound of his breakfast cooking. He peeked in the kitchen, eyes landing on Bakugou's bare back, black joggings hanging low around his waist.

"Good morning." He quietly hummed, dragging his feet as he approached his lover from behind. Katsuki stayed put as he smiled, feeling his partner's arms wrap around his torso with soft green curls pressing themselves on his back.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked, flipping a slice of bacon on the hot pan. He glanced over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of foggy emerald eyes as Izuku shifted to his side.

"I slept fine, I guess. I'm a little stiff, though." The green-haired man shrugged, resting his head on Bakugou's shoulder. "You? Did you sleep alright?" He asked back, glancing up to watch the blonde nod.

"I fuckin' loved what we did last night." He chuckled. "Haven't done that in a good while. It was nice to be able to touch you again without you being in so much pain." He spoke, looking down to lock with green orbs. Izuku smiled in agreement, looking back down to the meal his lover was preparing.

"Me too." Izuku hummed, closing his eyes. He really did enjoy being caressed by Katsuki the night prior. It was true they hadn't made love in quite a while due to how much Midoriya's muscles were sore after returning from work, but now that he hadn't worked in over a week, he had managed to find the strength and energy to enjoy a good night of sex with him.

"Move." Bakugou shrugged off Izuku's hands as he ordered him to get out of his way. Izuku obeyed, watching the blonde turn and place delicious-looking slices of bacon in the plates on the table. He quickly sat down as the other disposed of the dirty pan, setting it in the dishwasher before taking a seat across from Midoriya. "Did you want to do something today? I have a clear day. No shifts. Cancelled everything. I'm all yours." Katsuki chuckled, looking up to green eyes again.

Izuku smiled in thought. "We could go on a date. We haven't done that in a long time." He suggested, looking up as he bit through a slice of crispy bacon. He watched as Katsuki smiled, his own grin dropping as a thought popped into his mind. "But I have to stay home and look for job postings online. I haven't gotten accepted for any interviews yet." He mumbled, looking down to his plate. A silence roamed before Bakugou's voice resonated throughout the apartment.

"Screw it, we're going on a date. I'll make reservations for tonight, and we'll spend the day out together." The blonde shrugged, gaining the greenette's attention. Had Katsuki not heard what he had just said? "Screw the jobs, you'll have plenty of time to look for another one while I'm at work tomorrow. Besides, you should take a break. You might get a call for an interview today, who knows?"

Izuku looked down, thinking for a moment with a smile. The idea of going out on a date with Katsuki was pleasant to him. Also, he owed it to the blonde, after cancelling on Katsuki's birthday a few weeks prior.

"Okay, yeah, let's do it." He smiled wide as he looked up to a crimson gaze.

"Mhm, and then?" Katsuki hummed, holding Izuku's freckled hand tightly into his. Izuku giggled, continuing his story.

"Well, she got mad at me for wanting to quit. She said I was leaving her alone with all the masculine men - the rest of the crew." The greenette chuckled, explaining his pink-haired friend's reaction to the news he was leaving. "After picking a fit, Mina calmed down and hugged me. She said she was happy for me and that I was making a good choice. Oh, and she wants to hang out more often too."

"That's good, I'm glad." Bakugou smiled, looking down to green eyes. They continued their walk down the sidewalk, the sunset shining bright ahead of them on the horizon. "I'm also super glad we finally got to do this." He finished, kicking away a small rock with his foot. He glanced over to a beaming smile, freckles vanishing in a pink hue.

"I'm happy we got to do this too. I missed being able to spend time with you. I didn't realize how much time I spent focused on that shitty construction site job. I kinda forgot what spending time with you was like." Izuku awkwardly chuckled. "I missed this."

"Mm, me too." The blonde nodded, pulling Izuku off onto a bench. The streets were empty, since this part of town was nothing but stores and boutiques that were all closed at this hour. This part of Hosu seemed completely deserted. "I'm stuffed." The tall male muttered, looking over to soft green curls. Izuku smiled wide.

"You did eat a lot. You didn't have to eat what I left over, y'know?" He snickered.

"You barely ate, fucker."

"I wasn't that hungry! Besides, I'm full, too." Midoriya chuckled, squeezing his lover's hand tightly.

"I didn't want to leave behind such expensive food." Katsuki mumbled, putting on a fake irritated tone. "You shouldn't have ordered such a big dish if you knew you weren't hungry."

"Sorry, sorry." The greenette shook his head with a smile, laughing at his partner's nagging. A silence roamed as Midoriya leaned to the side, resting his head on Katsuki's broad shoulder.

"Are you tired?" The blonde asked, resting his head down on green curls as well. He felt his lover nod as a smile traced itself on sharp features. "We can go back home now, if you want. Or stay seated here for longer." He continued, letting go of Izuku's hand to swing his arm around his shoulder. He gently rubbed the greenette's arm with a smile, awaiting his reply.

"Nah, I wanna stay here like this. At least until it's dark, when the sun's completely down." Midoriya answered. He smiled softly, closing his eyes. "I'm really sorry for how I acted when I was working there, by the way. I acted immaturely." The greenette muttered. Bakugou scoffed, shaking his head.

"Don't go ahead and start rambling about work, this is supposed to be just me and you. No construction shit. If you want to talk about work, talk about the job you'll be getting." Katsuki cackled.

"I don't even know if I've gotten a job yet, I haven't checked the notifications on my app today, yet. Pretty sure they're all rejections, though." Izuku awkwardly chuckled, pulling his phone out of his jacket's pocket. He unlocked it, swiping away towards the app he had installed a couple of weeks prior. Eyes widened at a red dot, at the corner of the app's icon. He clicked on it, hoping to have good news. As a loading symbol appeared on his phone, he sat straight as he clicked on the notification corner, smiling wide as he opened a restaurant's response.

He scrolled through the letter, smile growing as he neared its end to see whether his clear answer was a yes or no. Eyes widened over the final sentence, smiling wider than ever.

"Kacchan, I got a job. You were right, I got accepted at a restaurant only a few hours ago." Izuku smiled, looking up to ruby red eyes.

"See, I told you you'd get it. Congrats, love." Bakugou smiled. He rested his head back on green curls, recalling the day he ran into an old friend of his; Shoto Todoroki. How Izuku had applied to one of his jobs, so the blonde thought it would be a good idea to put in a good word for his lover. Just to help.
