Chapter 4

Alexis's POV:

It feels cold on my left side.

I sit up and see Catherine is gone.

Its 2:43 in the morning. I get up to go look for her.

I walk to the front deck where I see Kian and Catherine standing.

Their voices are mumbles so i cant really hear their conversation.

What i see next surprises me.

Kian and Catherine kiss.

I run back as quick as I can to Connor. I wouldn't dare tell him because he would blab about it to Jc.

"Babe whats wrong?" Connor asks.

"Nothing. Just wanted to see how you were."

"Im good. You should get some sleep."

"Ok."

When I get back to the room Catherine is fast asleep.

A few hours pass and its morning. Time for school.

We all take our separate cars and head to school.

"Hey babe." Connor says standing by my locker.

"Hey."

"Whats wrong you seem upset?"

"Nothing I'm fine now get to class."

I walk away and leave Connor staring at me confused.

I stay distant from him all day because I really thought about what Catherine said.

I'm just sitting in history when i get a text from Catherine.

(C: Catherine A: Alexis)

C: lets go to the mall after school i need a dress for that party friday.

A: ok see you then.

The bells ring signaling the end of school.

I drive to the mall and meet Catherine at the dress store.

We both pick out dresses.

Mine is is a light blue strapless dress that stops just before my knees.

Catherines is purple and black and is mid thigh length.

We leave the shop and see the queens of b*tch land.

Ariana and Molly.

"Hey girls. Come here to find a dress to make you actually attractive?" Ariana said.

"We already are attractive your point?" Catherine replied.

"Your actually ugly have you looked in a mirror lately?"

"No I've only looked at your face." I say.

"Oh thats it! Ive had enough of your crap!" Catherine starts.

She knocks her down and punches Ariana.

When shes done Ariana looks like a bruised fruit but worse.

"Bye girls!" I said before walking away.

Next we stop at the cosmetics shop where we meet Katie.

"Hi I'm Katie. Welcome to the one stop makeup shop!"

"Hello."

"Do you guys have something in mind?"

"No just looking."

"You guys seem interesting looking lets talk."

We talk to Katie for a while and its like she is our long lost best friend. We all had so much in common.

"We actually have to go bye Katie!"

"Bye girls see you later! Oo i almost forgot i gave you half off."

"Thank you!"

Me and Catherine decide to leave so we both go our separate ways. Her to her apartment me to my house.

I get home and my mom has her work spread all over the counter.

"Alexis! Your home! Want to help me? I have no idea what im doing."
She says with that business woman tone.

"No thanks."

"Ahh why not?"

"Because i said no."

"Please."

"Mom no i said no."

"You should help me more often you lazy scumbag." she said in an angry tone.

I broke down crying.

"Well im sorry. Goodbye mom."

She doesent say anything she just stares at me.

By this point I've gotten used to it. She comes home most days angry from work.

I decide to go to Catherines apartment to cool myself off.
