Alexis's POV:

I wake up in fury.

The doctor said it wouldn't be long until I regained my memory and they were right.

"CONNOR JOEL FRANTA!" I scream in the air.

I jump out of bed and stomp down the hall.

I pick up my phone and dial Connor's number.

He picks up and as calmly as I can I say: "Hi babe. How are you?"

"Great. How about you?"

"Fine," I say gritting my teeth, "would you like to come over? Im home alone and I'm scared."

"Ok I'm coming over right now. Bye darling."

"Bye sweet cheeks."

I quickly get dressed and grab a picture frame with a picture of Connor and I hugging in it.

Now I know what the red x's were for.

I hear Connor walk in so I head downstairs.

I drop the picture frame down the stairs.

"Babe! You broke our picture!" he says.

"Yea well you broke my heart. You f*cking lied to me. You are gay. You're dating Troye!"

He frowns.

"No... What would make you say that?"

"Im not stupid Connor. I got my memory back. Now quit living your little fantasy and go home. Don't ever talk to me again!"

With that I push him out the door and lock it.

I slide down the door and cry into my hands.

"Why?" I scream.

I decide to head to the hospital to see Catherine.

I arrive after about 10 minutes.

I walk into her room, 248.

"Hey" I say.

"Hi."

She says that as though she has a thought on her mind. I notice she is staring at a piece of white paper with something on it and a pencil in her hand.

"I know you don't remember me but I remember you. Catherine, you are my best friend."

She gives me a blank stare.

"And you may not remember that. Not right now at least. Ok so listen. A lot of stuff has been happening to me. Connor, one of your friends, tried to play a mind game with me. Making a girl who has no memory, his girlfriend. Well I figured out the truth. He is gay. He is dating our other friend Troye."

Nothing. She just stares at me like I'm a dumb dog.

"I know you don't understand. But I want you too. I want everything to be back to the way it was before the crash. Jc is still in the hospital. He is your boyfriend by the way or at least I think. I just need you to help me out. Please."

"Im sorry. Im not really sure what to say" she replies.

"Its ok. I understand."

I start to walk out of the room and cry.

I get out in the parking lot and bawl.

My phone beeps.

A smile creeps onto my face.

I start to drive and before long I arrive at my destination.

When no one else wanted to help me, he was the one who was there for me.

Marcus Butler.
