Chapter 22

Alexis's POV:

"Alexis are you ok?" Marcus asks.

He runs up next to me.

Catherine takes Kian and Jc outside.

"Yea i'm fine. Thanks for stopping that fight. I might not have a house." I reply with a slight laugh.

"What's going on between Kian and Jc? I thought they were best friends."

"Honestly I have no idea. This is the second time i've seen you tonight. At least you managed to change."

Marcus changed into some jeans, a green t-shirt, and some white vans.

"Well you still look beautiful."

I blush.

Just as he leans in to kiss me, Catherine storms through the door.

"Hey lex can you take me home. I'll come back and help you clean later. I just... I can't do this I need to go home. Not that I even know where that is." she weeps.

"I can take her home." Marcus offers.

"Thank you." I say.

"Thank you." Catherine replies.

I hug Catherine goodbye.

"Bye Lex. Call me later." Marcus says. He kisses me on the cheek.

"Bye guys!"

Now to clean this mess up.

The next morning I wake up and realize: its Friday. But at least tomorrow is the weekend.

Awesome.

It will be all of us that got in the crash first day back to school.

We've been off for about two weeks but making up the homework along the way so we are all caught up.

Im not sure if I will see Catherine today.

When I get to school people are instantly surrounding me and asking what happened.

"We got in a crash. Nothing big." I say.

I manage to break through the crowd.

My locker is surrounded too so I might as well not go there.

My first class is history.

Why do we have to learn about history? They are all dead anyways.

First hour seems to go on forever.

The bell rings and I am off to science. Thank god I have that with Marcus.

I walk into the classroom and see him smiling at me.

And Connor frowning at me.

Shoot I forgot I have this class with him also.

I go to sit by Marcus and he hugs me.

"Helloooooo." He yells.

"Helloooooo to you too Marky Butt Butt."

"Oh no not that nickname."
