Chapter 18

Alexis's POV:

When I wake up Kian has his arms wrapped around a peacefully sleeping Catherine. So cute!

Wait. Woah. I can't just say they are cute. Catherine is still dating Jc and who knows about Kian.

I turn on my phone and notice its 8:30. I will give them a few more minutes.

2 New Messages

Marcus: Lex, I have a question to ask you.

Marcus: Actually call me.

Confused I dial Marcus's number.

"Hello?" I say.

"Goodmorning!" Marcus says with his raspy morning voice.

"So you asked me to call you."

"Oh right. I wanted to ask you when I could hear your voice. So umm..."

"So ummm what?" I giggle.

"So umm... I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me? Tomorrow night?"

I smile and reply, "yes I would love too."

"Ok great! Be ready at 5 I will pick you up."

"Sounds good. Bye Marcus."

"Bye Lexi."

The call ends.

I keep myself from screaming out loud.

Instead I decide to wake up Catherine and Kian.

"KIAN! CATHERINE! WAKE UP!"

They both shoot up.

"Dude really?" Kian says.

"Yes. We have a lot to do today."

Catherine starts, "whyyyy."

"Because it's your birthday you noob."

"Wait its my birthday?"

"Yes. And we are going to celebrate all night long!"

Kian runs to the bathroom to change. Catherine puts her shoes on and ties her hair into a bun.

10 minutes later Kian comes out of the bathroom.

"Jesus Kian you take as long as I do to get ready." I joke.

He just sticks his tongue out at me.

"Lets go."

We walk out to my car.

Catherine looks a little scared. I reassure her it will be fine.

Once we start driving down the road I explain what we are doing.

"Listen up people. First we are going to show Catherine around the town. Try to jog her memory. Second we are gonna eat some food. Lastly we will go buy some cake for tonight."
