Finding Us

Chapter 21

Catherine's POV:

"It all s-started last night when I was I had got out of the shower. I thought it was you who had brought me clothes, but it was Kian. I k-kind of flashed him when I got out and he was making jokes about it but then I slipped and pulled him down with me. We kissed and that guy... Jc you said he was walked in and saw us then got pissed and left. Now he's here and he said he was going to kill Kian and they started fighting."

"Oh... thats it?" Sarcasm filled the void in her voice. "I kind of hooked up with Kian last night. I was drunk." I whispered under my breath. Alexis's head shot up and her jaw dropped to the floor. "What?! Again?!" She tried hiding her laughter but failed.

"What do you mean again? Don't tell that guy." I said pointing in the direction of the two guys that were fighting. "Oh shit." She said getting up and running over to them. She tried holding them back but it didn't work. Fists were thrown and blood fell.

From the looks of it, it was mostly Jc's. It looked as if he had a bloody nose or lips I couldn't tell. Alexis tripped and fell to the ground while trying to pull the guys off of each other. All of the sudden the door swung open and two guys ran in.

They ran over and got in the middle of the fighting. One of them took a hit to the face the other one caught Jc's hand as he was going to hit Kian. "STOP!" I yelled standing up. It was as if they were my minions and bent to my will because as I said it they froze.

"You couldn't have said that like two coffee tables ago." Alexis said sitting up. I ran over to her, to help her up. As I helped her to her feet, I looked over at the four boys. One of them was spotless but the others had at least one bruise.

"Alexis are you ok?" One of them said. I'm guessing that was Marcus. He came up to her and took my spot next to her. I pointed at Kian and Jc. "You two come with me. We need to talk." I walked out Alexis's front door.

I shut the door once we were all out. "Look, I don't remember either of you. Okay? So just stop fighting and LEAVE. I don't want to see you." My face was expressionless. Although I felt like I was going to cry again.

"But babe."

"Jc. That is your name right? See I don't know you. I definitely don't want to look at you right now, so please leave."

He looked really sad. Some part inside me wanted to comfort him because I did that. I just made him upset, and it was probably because I yelled at him. But there was this other part of me that just wanted him out of my face. I wanted him gone because all he was doing was making trouble for me.

"Cath..."

"Kian don't."

"But I just wanted to..."

"I don't want to hear it." I could feel a lump in my throat. "I don't- I don't want... I don't want to see you right now please just go."

Tears began to fall from my eyes. I turned around and walked back into Alexis's house. It must have been an intense conversation because when I walked in everything went silent. I wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Hey lex can you take me home. I'll come back and help you clean later. I just... I can't do this I need to go home. Not that I even know where that is," I started to cry again, from what I could tell I must be a pretty weak person if I cry this much.

"I can take her home." one of the guys walked over to me and led me out the door. Once we both were in the car he put the key in the ignition and turned it. "Catherine do you remember me?" I smiled slightly. "You must be Marcus, Alexis's hot date that she was talking about. But no I don't remember you." I said
