You walk downstairs after the smell of freshly made breakfast woke you up, the slight headache reminding you of the past events. "Good morning, you're here already. Thought you're going to arrive later today". The deep, still half sleepy voice of John caught your ears.

"I had some issues with Kyle, thought it would be best to let him be and just go home." You were handed a coffee mug, the fresh brew raising to your nose. "What did he do now"

The exhaustion was clearly heard in Prices voice. He was over the bullshit at work but now having to deal with the issue of his sergeant at home would be the death of him especially s early in morning.

"Well some of his friends came over yesterday and one of them supposedly was his girl best friend-"
Before you were able to finish your sentence and relive the memories, John had raised his hand, stopping you from going further into detail. His face showed something you couldn't clearly identify.

"I will handle him, don't worry about it for now. Enjoy being here. Your father should be back from the store any minute. I sent him out to get some buns for the breakfast:"

You nodded, it probably was best to let it be for now, ignore his actions until you were back and had the chance to talk to him.

"y/n you're back, I wondered when I'd see you". A voice you hadn't heard in too long ripped you out of your thoughts, you turned around and hugged your father. Receiving a warm hug in return.

The rest of the morning continued to be a welcomed change, the breakfast was good and the walk after with both your uncle and father was something you had looked for, for a long time. It has become a small tradition that every time John was home, you'd go on a walk with both of them after you all had been eating. Seeing it more annoying as a kid, you really enjoyed the time now, considering yourself a missing case every time you had to return to your workplace.

The rest of your vacation had the same ritual almost every day. Spend time with your uncle and father and then training and watching any crap that was played on the TV. The weeks had gone by faster than you had wished, still you missed being on the base.

After a lot of convincing and talking, you had agreed to leave your father's home a week earlier, driving back to the base to get ready for the upcoming month of hard work.

The goodbyes weren't as easy as you had hoped it to be. With your father being a very emotional guy you spend good half an hour just telling him that you will be back eventually, Price wasn't much help either, standing in his corner waiting for his turn to give you the goodbyes, even if he would see you again in another week.

The familiar smell of the base locked into your nostrils as you opened the door to your room, everything was tidy and well cleaned, just as you left it 3 weeks ago. Yet you haven't seen anyone else back, it looked empty and lifeless. At least in the department you were in.

On your way to the rec room you were met with a so familiar skull mask, looking right back in your direction. "Hey Ghost, you busy tonight? I wanted to go out to the bar." Approaching his position, he just continued to stand there looking at you. "I don't mind, anyone else here or just us"

"Well I don't know where Kyle and Johnny are fucking around but I don't think they have arrived yet" The man just looked at you, a slight hint of confusion spread in his eyes, yet he didn't go further into detail. Questioning your choice of words.

The evening had approached and after getting dressed, you waited outside for Ghost to follow up, just then noticing him walk out the front door wearing a black hoodie with a normal balaclava. Black pants, rounding up the whole outfit.

"Are you ready?" He asked, stopping next to you. You nodded, still scanning his choice of clothes. Civil clothing looked good on him, the hood of his hoodie pulled deep into his face.

The walk to the bar wasn't going to take long, the scary yet soothing presence of Ghost giving you a hint of comfort. His steps glared out a sense of confidence that you yourself couldn't describe.

He continued to stay quiet, hands shoved deep into his pockets. He looked in some sense attractive, the mysterious figure he glared out to be getting a whole new sense when being so close to him in a non-danger zone.

After arriving at the bar he made sure to hold the door open, giving you entrance to the more to grow familiar space. "Tell me why you are here already, weren't you supposed to spend time with Kyle?". Here it was the question you wanted to avoid this evening. You haven't really thought of him for the past week, being more focused on spending quality time with your family.

"We had some issues when I was at his place, was with my family for the past weeks". He was the one to nod now sitting down at one of the bar chairs, ordering two drinks for you and him.

"What did he do"

His voice was calm, yet had a small sense of light aggression to it. "I don't really want to get him into any trouble, especially because it was a priva-"

"I am not here as you lieutenant y/n, I want to help you and I know that look on your face its eating you up from the inside"

The drinks were placed in front of the two of you, you take a big sip before thinking about your next step of words. "He had some friends around it wasn't anything deep, as it got further in the evening he and his seemingly best friend started kissing, he didn't even mind me for the evening while his friends were there"

It felt good to talk about it so openly, I wasn't something you would make a big deal out of but there was always the slight hint of feeling used, he had acted so differently the whole week, it came to points were you felt like you were close to dating him at some point.

"You deserve better" Was all Ghost said to your words, he looked straight ahead, the balaclava pulled up to his nose, giving him access to enjoy the bourbon he was sipping from. "Why don't you get revenge? Give him a piece of his own medicine to treat what he had started". The sudden formation of his words shocked you, how would you get revenge, even if you considered it at some point. Your thoughts were stopped as Ghost suddenly turned around to face you, his eyes looked genuine, a small sense of something else shining inside of them.

With one swirl, he downed the rest of the liquor in his glass, his finding its way to your cheek. "You deserve to be treated differently y/n, I don't know how close you have gotten to him, but he can't give you what you should really desire."

The touch of his warm hand fogged your mind, the sudden closure feeling good but also so bad. It felt like committing a crime.

All of a sudden, he came even closer, his lip now hovering net to your ear. "Let me show you how a girl like you should be treated, no commitment, just us bonny"

You felt lost for words, a tickle spread in your lower abdomen, a warm burn telling you how much you desired the touch right now.

Your body gave in before your mind could decide, falling basically into Simon's arms, you felt his lips hovering above yours. The mask still pulled up to his nose.

"Please.." A whisper that closed the last millimeters in between your lips, his soft the light taste of the alcohol signing his just as much as your own.

"Tonight call me Simon, let me be your secret mydear"
