Stanley woke up at his desk, for the 5th time now. He closed his work program and opened Tumblr, it was beginning to become a habit, he finished his blog post and posted it. Stanley sighed as he sat back in his chair, he wanted to get out but how, he then go up and left his office but this time the building was different...more blue.

"All of his co-workers were...wait, no. This isn't the right office, is it?" Stanley shook his head 'This place just keeps getting more weird' he thought to the Narrator "You're telling me..." he answered.

Stanley sighed as he walked to the set of doors like always, at least this bit wasn't different. "When Stanley came to a set of two open doors, he entered the door on his left." Stanley listened and walked through the doorway and to the meeting room.

"Yet there was not a single person here either. Feeling a wave of dis-" Stanley tuned out the Narrator as he walked, past the broom closet, to the staircase and Stanley walked upstairs and to his boss' office "Stepping in to his manager's office, Stanley was once again stunned to discover not an indication of any human life." Stanley sighed getting tired of the dialogue so he just went to the keypad and put in 2-8-4-5.

"Stanley was in such a rush to get through the story as quickly as possible, he didn't even have a single minuet to let the Narrator talk! That kind of anxiety isn't healthy, so he relaxed for a few moments, with some calming new age music." said the Narrator as some music started to play, Stanley sighed 'ever thought that maybe this part is a drag?' Stanley told him as he looked really bored. The Narrator was getting annoyed by Stanley but didn't let it stop him from narrating "Feeling soothed and rejuvenated, Stanley calmly walked forward into the opened passageway." and Stanley listened, going down the elevator, he stopped outside the Mind Control Facility.

"Stanley walked straight ahead through the large door that read 'Mind Control Facility'" but Stanley didn't listen, he went left going down a hallway that was labelled 'escape' "Although this passageway had the word 'escape' written on it, the truth was that at the end of this hall, Stanley would meet his violent death." Stanley stopped, not out of fear. 'Really?' he asked looking up 'cause if I remember right I have already died twice! once from you and the second one from myself!' he huffed as he kept walking down the hallway.

"The door behind him was not shut. Stanley still had every opportunity to turn around and get back on track." Stanley shook his head 'no, I know what happens when I turn on and off the machine. When I turn it on you blow me up and when I turn it off I get to be 'free' but then it goes black and I'm back in my office' he said as he kept walking.

"At this point, Stanley was making a conscious, concerted effort to walk forward, and willingly confront his death." Stanley looked down at the newly opened hatch, he took a deep breath and then jumped down.

Stanley landed in a little metal cage like thing he stood up as the cage started to move forward. "As the machine whirled into motion, and Stanley was inched closer and closer to his demise, he reflected that his life had been of no consequence whatsoever." Stanley sighed 'really?' he thought to the Narrator "Stanley can't see the bigger picture. He doesn't know the real story. Trapped forever in his narrow vision of what this world is." Stanley crossed his arms 'Then tell me what this world is?!' Stanley asked, getting annoyed. "And where would the fun in that be then?" the Narrator said with a smirk, he didn't know what this world was either but Stanley didn't know that.

"Perhaps his death was of no great loss, like plucking the eyeballs from a blind man. And so he resigned, and willingly accepted this violent end to his brief and shallow life. Farewell, Stanley." Stanley sighed 'cya in the office' he said to him as all of a sudden it all stopped and another voice.

"'Farewell Stanley' cried the Narrator, as Stanley was led helplessly into the enormous metal jaws. In a single visceral instant, Stanley was obliterated, as the machine crushed every bone in his body, killing him instantly." Stanley got dropped from the cage and on to some catwalk below.

'Another Narrator?' Stanley questioned himself as he walked forwards and saw the words 'The Stanley Parable' with a doorway that let to a museum-like place. "And yet it would be just a few minutes before Stanley would restart the game, back in his office, as alive as ever." Stanley looked around 'so you know the resets too?' he tried to question her but she didn't answer him. Stanley hummed looking at some buttons 'Do you have a name?' he asked her "The Curator" She simply said.

"What exactly did the Narrator think he was going to accomplish?" Stanley was looking at a model of his office up to the two doors. "When every path you can walk has been created for you long in advance, death becomes meaningless, making life the same." Stanley thought over her words 'so...this world is a game...and I'm just a character, the main character it seems, that can respawn?' he questioned trying to get it right in his head but the Curator didn't answer him. "Do you see now? Do you see, Stanley you was already dead from the moment you woke up in your office." Stanley swallowed he was nervous 'already dead? am I in some coma? what is this world?' he asked panicking a bit but trying to keep himself calm as he had finally find an exit.

The Curator laughed "Oh, look at you two. How you wish to destroy one another. How you wish to control one another" Stanley got to a switch "How you both wish to be free" Stanley flipped the switch and was back in that little cage going into the metal crusher again.

"Can you see? Can you see how much you need one another?" Stanley chocked on his own spit 'WHAT no! I don't need or want him for that matter"

"No, perhaps not. Sometimes these things cannot be seen. But listen to me, you can still save yourself and him. You can stop the program before you both fail. Restart the game. There is no other ending. As long as you move forward, you'll be walking someone else's path. Stop now, and it'll be your only true choice! Don't let time-" and everything went black.

The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End. The End is Never The End.
