Stanley sat there staring at his blank computer screen, again. He opened Tumblr 'What do I even write...' he wondered as he just started to type out what he was thinking and that he was going to hide in the broom closet until further notice and so Stanley got up and left his office.

"All his co-workers were gone, what could it mean? Stanley decided to go to the meeting room; perhaps he had simply missed a memo." Stanley sighed, he like the sound of the Narrator's voice but wished he would stop saying the same things all the time.

Stanley made his way to the set of doors and he entered the door on his left, he made his way through the meeting room, and made a beeline for the broom closet. Once he was inside he closed the door sat down on the floor, with his knees to his chest and covered his ears to block out the Narrator, who was saying some nonsense now. This whole situation was too much for Stanley and he started to cry. He missed his life. He felt lonely, he missed Kevin and his cat, his flat and even his real job. He just wanted his life back. When all of a sudden Stanley noticed the silence. 'Narrator?' Stanley ask him but there was no reply 'Did he leave to let me cry?' he wondered feeling even more alone now. Not even a minuet later there was a knock at the broom closet, Stanley's head snapped up 'someone else is here?' he was cautious and just stayed sitting there. "Stanley?..." it was the Narrator but he sounded like he was behind the door, the door opened slowly reviling a old-ish man with brown, greying, hair with a yellow stripe down the fringe, he had some yellow tinted glasses on with a gold chain around his neck connected to the glasses. He wore a work shirt with a yellow-brown sweater over it and some black dress pants on.

Stanley blinked as he studied the man in front of him 'You're a person?' he asked, the Narrator just sighed as he sat next to Stanley "It was hard for me to get out of the room, I don't think we are meant to meet like this..." Stanley looked confused, that didn't really answer his question. He looked down 'I miss my life...' the Narrator looked over to him "is that why you are crying?" Stanley nodded 'yh...I miss Kevin, I miss Bucket, I even miss my real job just pushing buttons...' Stanley started to tear up 'I want to go back...' the Narrator felt sorry for him "I really wish I could give it back to you...but I'm trapped here as well...I just don't remember a life before the Parable" Stanley wiped his tears away and looked to him 'Really?' the Narrator nodded and the conversation faded out.

Stanley laid his head on the Narrator's shoulder, the Narrator tensed up but then relaxed after a second. 'I'm sorry...' Stanley thought "For what?" he replied as Stanley looked up to him 'I thought you trapped me here...I have been against you when we should have been working together...' Stanley explained the Narrator chuckled a bit and shook his head "No, it's alright Stanley...how about we start again?" he offered holding his hand out for Stanley to shake, Stanley nodded taking the offer and shaking his hand 'we can be friends and try find a way out together' Stanley smiled, the Narrator smiled too and nodded "indeed, we can"

The two of them stayed in the broom closest for a while until the Narrator felt a reset coming he sighed. 'What's wrong' Stanley asked "I can feel a reset coming on." Stanley tilted his head "I can sense when the parable is about to reset by itself, we can restart ourselves but the parable does it as well." He explained Stanley nodded understanding it now. 'do you know when?' he asked the Narrator shook his head "no, I just know it is coming" Stanley nodded and laid his head on the Narrator again '...can I see you again,, next reset?' the Narrator blushed a little "It might be a bit difficult but I'll work on it...I had to break the door to get out this time" Stanley looked to him but before he could say anything everything went black.
