"The recoupling will now be taking place at the firepit. #ChooseWisely #MoreToCome." The group began exchanging uncomfortable glances as they stood to their feet.
"They sent us a message in code!" Caro complained. They walked in silence to the firepit. It was the boys' turn to choose.
So they got to sit on the benches while the girls stood before them. Tima's feet began to ache in her shoes, and she shifted her weight from ankle to ankle.
Yamen was prodded to go first with a brief text from his phone. "Well, I'd like to couple up with this girl because of the mystery. We're all kind of haunted by the unknown, and the endless possibilities that entails. I think there could be something there... "" he smiled.

"and I guess I'm just hoping she might feel the same way. As this girl might say, I'm not really sure why I'm doing this. Anyways, the girl I'd like to couple up with is Fatima." A bolt of anger rushed to her cheeks and her face fell into a mug.

Fatima's mouth dropped instantly as she looked directly to Zac. He was furious, he didn't expect this at all.

He knew Yamen had feelings for Fatima but he was sure Fatima brushed him off good enough to get him to leave her be.
"Oh wow this is unexpected!" Arielle said after a moment of silence, everyone was so displeased with this.
"Fatima you may join Yame- before she could finish Fatima walked over to Zac. He stood up and she hugged him and gave him a kiss.
"Pick Bianca," she whispered in his ear before going to sit next to Yamen. She was mad to say the least, Yamen had overdone it this time.
He attempted to touch her causing her to snatch away. "Please don't." She said though gritted teethe, he eyed her.

Nate stood to take his turn. He ran his hands along the tops of his thighs to smooth his shorts, a perfect irony for the wrinkles he was about to create throughout the group.
"I'd like to couple up with this girl because she's sweet. While she isn't really my type compared to my past relationships,"
"I'm pretty excited for something new, something fresh. She's kind to everyone in the villa and is as helpful as she can possibly be. The girl I'd like to couple up with is Kyra." Kyra's facial expression a polite smile.
"Wow!" She said through a nervous laugh. "Thank you." She walked over and Nate pulled her into a big hug.
Several of the other girls seemed to relax their shoulders. "That's me," Zac stood to his feet after his phone went off.
"I'd like to couple up with this girl because she's the real deal. Getting to know her has given me a new look on life; I love waking up in the morning because I know I get to see her. Being coupled up with her since the beginning is everything to me. The girl I'd like to couple up with is Caro," he smiled.
Caro smiled as she approached Tre, giving him the sloppies, sexual kiss in the universe. She kissed his cheek after, earning a wide smile.
Zac and Daniel looked down at their phones, waiting patiently until Daniel' chimed. He jumped to his feet and rubbed his hands together nervously.
"I'd like to couple up with this girl because... gosh, I'm so excited, sorry." He looked down at the ground, shaking off invisible nervous jitters.
"I'd like to couple up with this girl because I'm ready for our journey to begin. She may have taken some time to get ready for this crazy road trip of life we're about to take together, but don't even worry."
"I've gassed up the van, grabbed your favorite snacks and Gatorade flavors... I don't know where this metaphor is going, but it sounded so cool in my head. The girl I'd like to couple up with is Heather ," Daniel beamed the entire time.
Heather smiled and rushed over to him, placing a romantic kiss on his pink lips. Zac's phone went off, but he didn't bother to look at it.
Zac and Bianca stared at each other awkwardly, as if refusing to speak would erase the fact that they were now, by default, partnered up with each other.
Eventually, Zac mustered the strength . "I'd like to couple up with this girl because I'm going to need a little spoon, and Fatima got picked," he joked with a small smile.
Bianca appreciated his comedic take on the situation. "I'd like to couple up with Bianca."
Bianca smiled and walked over, giving him a short friendly hug before taking their seats. We looked around at our newest couples.
Bianca and Zac , Fatima and Yamen, Kyra and Nate, Caro and Tre, and Daniel and Heather. It was much stranger than many of us could comprehend.
The girls excused themselves to get ready for bed. They sat around our vanities removing bobby pins from updos and wiping off mascara.
Caro leaned over to Fatima's vanity and watched her remove her false lashes in her mirror. She peeled them off and tossed them carelessly down on the vanity.
She began rubbing coconut oil on her skin as a makeup remover. She massaged the product in aggressive circles.
"You okay, Tima ?" Bianca asked. She slowed her movements when she noticed they'd was watching. "No, I'm pissed extremely piss."
"Thankful to be here, but irritated by the position I'm in," she said aloud like it was a mantra she'd been repeating to herself.
"Yamen just over does it huh?" Caro asked. She was bent over her vanity, rummaging through the drawers.
"In short, yes. It's a big deal right now; however it's just a temporary couple, Zac and I can continue where we left off at the next recoupling."
There's no way that Zac and I are going to let this break up - Fatima
I don't care if I sleep in the pool, as long as Fatima is floating beside me I know I'm good - Zac
"I'm not too worried about another girl coming in here while I'm on Yamen duty," Fatima started gaining a laugh from her besties.
"So just be there for me while I get through this?" Caro and Bianca came over and gave her a hug. "You know we got you T."
They finished up and changed into their pjs. They make it back to the room and Bianca climbing in bed along with Caro.
Yamen was pretending to read a magazine but in all reality he was waiting on Fatima to come lay beside him.
His eyes lit up when her and Zac entered the room. "Hand me that please," Bianca through Zac his pillow. With his name on it.
Yamen looked up, Fatima grabbed her pillow and water bottle. They went outside causing Yamen to grow confused.
"Where did they go?" He asked around, "No clue, I just know they're together and they are happy and on that note." All the girls clapped two times.
The lights went out.
