BILLY: People think that we played one song for teddy price and he gave us a deal

VIENNA: [laughs] thats bullshit

BILLY: for months he put us through the wringer

VIENNA: I mean playing the whiskey a go go was a dream come true but we wanted more. We wanted to go bigger.

GRAHAM: We were standing outside after a show

WARREN: Sweating our nuts off might i add.

KAREN: I'm pretty sure Vi was sat on the side walk, about to pass out from the heat.

VIENNA: I gave everything I had into every performance.

KAREN: That's what I loved about Vienna. Every performance was electric. Everyone in the crowd took home a little bit of  her soul.

BILLY: That's when Teddy told me he'd booked us in.

EDDIE: He turned around and told us.

GRAHAM: we were finally making an album.

VIENNA: I'm pretty sure i screamed.  I wrapped my arms around Karen first, nobody was getting out unscathed though. [laughs] Not even Teddy, no matter how much he refused to hug me. I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

EDDIE: She turned to me and said 'it's all happening, we're gonna make it.'  and then she jumped into my arms.

VIENNA: That first day in the studio, it was insane. I mean, it's a feeling i haven't experienced since.

CAMILA: I was watching [pause] history. I was photographing, history.

VIENNA: It was all happening.

KAREN: I remember we were playing look me in the eye and i look around, at everyone and it was so surreal.

VIENNA: I miss those studio days. I mean, i hated them back then, couldn't wait to get home. But i'd give anything to go back.

EDDIE: It was this moment in time when we were all so excited, the energy it was electric. We hadn't quite made it yet but we were just around the corner. We were just waiting, anticipating.

BILLY: it was just happening all so fast,  we recorded our album in six days, had two weeks off and then it was time to hit the road.

VIENNA: I knew Camila was pregnant. She'd told me the minute she'd found out. I told her as much as he acted like an asshole, he wasn't one. Billy Dunne always did what was right.

CAMILA: We got married the same night i told him.

BILLY:It was insane, really.

CAMILA: It was beautiful.

VIENNA: I remember Warren letting a camera get the best of him.

WARREN: mescaline is a powerful drug [laughs]

Her dress wasn't very suitable for a wedding. Then again, she hadn't exactly packed for one. If she'd known maybe she would've packed that ugly dress her mother made her wear to church every Sunday. Camila looked beautiful though, she always did.

VIENNA: we'd helped her get ready that memory. I hold it so close to my heart.

KAREN: i didn't really have many 'girlfriends' I never really had the time but these girls. They were really neat.

Vienna had spent the duration of the reception at the drinks table, that was expected though. She knew how to a  party. She'd managed to sneak away from Warren taking about some random conspiracy he'd read about somewhere, something he told her every single time he got high and or drunk.  Now though, she was weaving her way through the gathering trying to get as far as way from Warrens insane theories. Anything to avoid unnecessary paranoia. She didn't necessarily need to think about how much control the government had over her right now.  Her face lit up however when she saw Camila and Eddie a few meters away.

As she approached she could just about make out their conversation, "I'm really," he stumbled over his words slightly, "I'm really happy for you." Eddie spoke, drink in his hand.

"There she is," Vienna beamed, "Mrs Dunne." Camila bowed a little, laughing softly. "you look beautiful, Cami"

"why thank you, ms Kelly." she spoke, genuine before pulling the younger girl into a hug. She was pulled out of it however, laughing and apologising as she was whisked away.

Vienna looked at him, he was still looking at her. "You're so full of shit." she laughed.

"What?" he turned to her, to busy to pay attention at first.

"you're a bad liar, Eddie Roundtree." she smirked.

"I didn't lie about anything," he scratched the back of his neck. She laughed, head tipping back softly as she did.

"you couldn't even say it without tripping over your own lies," she mocked. Though her face dropped slightly when she realised he wasn't laughing with her. "you cant spend your life waiting for one person to give you the time of day, Eddie. there's a whole world full of people around you." she pushed his shoulder. "the world won't wait forever,"

EDDIE: she walked away after that. Alone, with the words she'd left lingering in the air.

KAREN: we spent the whole night dancing.

INTERVIEWER: how much do you remember about the tour?

VIENNA: [sighs] I- I'm not proud of it.

BILLY: I- uh, it was along time ago. I don't really remember.

CAMILA: I remember everything.

VIENNA: I knew- Lying to Camila was wrong. I felt guilty every time i did. I still did it though. Losing a bit of her trust, that day she came out and [pauses]. She loved me and her approval was everything to me. Her being disappointed in me - it was a pain i never wanted to feel again. But- Billy... he wasn't himself. He was in a bad way.

KAREN: I mean, we don't know what happened when that hotel room door closed but I really thought it was the end for us.

BILLY: that was only the beginning for us.
