VIENNA: I'd never had much luck, when it came to relationships. Not everyone has good intentions, i learnt that the hard way. Even in high school. I was treated like some big hunt that you can hang on your wall.

CLOVER: Vienna comes across as a hard ass, she has since high school. I mean, she's intimidating. She's beautiful and doesn't care about it and she'll tell you exactly what she's thinking. But you scrape the surface and shes this hopeless romantic, chasing down a love that wasn't fathomable for our world. She wanted the kiss scene in the rain, the big confession. Every man who took advantage of that, took a bit of her spirit with them.

VIENNA: it was different, those few weeks with Eddie. I don't know why, maybe it was because it was Eddie. Eddie, who I'd known for years. Eddie who would take the long route home, just so he could walk me home from school. I suppose, it was a long time coming.

CLOVER: He was new for her. She had this warped vision of love, this shit, painful vision. It was what she'd come to know. And suddenly, Eddie, He walks in and makes her question every experience she'd ever had with a man.

VIENNA: He made me feel good. [laughs] In so many way. I mean i was so convinced all men saw women as objects, to win over, to claim, to dehumanise. But I'd never felt more human, more myself than the early mornings i spent with him.

"Everyone gone?," Vienna whipped her head around to the sound, a subconscious smile making its way onto her lips.

"They all went down to the strip." she spoke, readjusting the needle to the outer groove. "Told them i wasn't feeling well." She let the needle go, turning on her heel.

Eddie circled the couch inching closer to her. When they stood face to face, he held the back of his palm against her forehead. "You feel fine to me." he smiled, mockingly. "Are you lying to the band?" he gasped.

" about you." she laughed, "you're my dirty secret." She moved her arms, resting around his neck just as the music began to sound. I'd have you any time, George Harrison.

"now that's hurtful." He says, lifting her chin to connect their lips in a soft, kiss. He pulled apart, their noses still brushing.

"you'll get over it," she mused, smiling.  The record skipped, Eddie laughed at that. She turned to fiddle with the needle, setting it down in a place where it wouldn't skip again.

She moved over to the couch, sitting close to him. Her legs rest over his lap, her head dropping to rest on his shoulder. "I think I have a really good feeling, y'know about daisy."

"you think?" he looked down at her, brows furrowed.

"I dunno, i just feel like its too good to be true." She shrugged, "Maybe that's just because of what happened last time,"

"I don't blame you." She shrugged, "I think she's good for us though, i mean the music, It's good, It's really good."

She hummed in response, "we fuckin' rock," She grinned up. He laughed, moving a strand of hair behind her ear.

"tell me something i don't know about you," he spoke, soft. Her brows furrowed, a dry laugh leaving her lips.

GRAHAM: the thing with Vienna is that no matter how close you think you are to her, she's still keeping you an arms length away.

WARREN: She was one of my best friends and thinking back, now, I knew nothing about her. Not really. I knew she was important to me, I knew i loved her like she were my own sister but I could never tell what was going on inside of her head. Eddie, he was always good at that.
