BILLY: So, I played the song to teddy.

KAREN: and the next thing you know, we're booked in the studio.

EDDIE: we'd never heard of her then, I mean no one had.... except Vienna of course.

GRAHAM: billy wasn't thrilled.

VIENNA: I was ecstatic. We we're finally back on track, [smiles] It wasn't all for nothing.

DAISY: My favourite thing about Vienna is that she always made you feel welcome, loved y'know. I walked in the door and there she was hugging me, kissing my face and telling me how happy she was for me to be there. She always made you feel like a million bucks.

"where are the rest of her pants?" Eddie whispered from the control room the five  of them were huddled in.

"who cares," warren spoke, wide eyed.

Vienna scoffed, "pick your jaw up off of the floor before someone trips, Rojas."

"shut up you three," Karen laughed to herself,

"okay, billy. can we give us a level please." Teddy asked, billy complied.

"y'know i have really good feeling about this guys," Warren nodded, towards the huddle.

"no you don't, the shrooms are just kicking in," Vienna grinned.

"This is honeycomb, take one." Teddy spoke again, "Okay, let's get this started."

The music started. They were all waiting, watching in anticipation. On the edge of their seats, billy started singing. Seconds later though, Daisy took of her headphones, tapping billy on the shoulder to whisper something incoherent in his ear.

"Is she talking about us?" Eddie asked, bewildered.

"it's our song, right?" Warren laughed, taking a drag from his cigarette.

"Let's just um- give her some space." Karen interjected. "don't you think? do you want to go talk to deb?"

"Debbie's working today? oh shit." they were already leaving.  Vienna scoffed. They both turned to look at each other, laughing slightly.

"Okay. honeycomb take two."

VIENNA: and then they started singing [smiles].

BILLY: that was until, she sang the wrong lyrics.

"Okay. can we stop." Billy huffed, taking off the headphones. He turned to her, "those aren't the lyrics you're, uh,  singing. do you need me to write them down. can you... can we grab a pen."

"I mean, i know what the lyrics are." Daisy protested,

"Well then why aren't you singing them." he bounced back.

"I am singing them." She said matter of factly, handing over her book.

Vienna kissed her teeth awkwardly, not knowing what to do with herself. "I'm going to see deb," She whispered to karen. Karen gently grabbed her arm as she was about to open the door.

"Is she always like this?" she asked, amused.

"Yeah," Vienna nodded, "isn't she great." She added just before slipping out.

She walked down the hall to the couch where all four (including deb) sat. "What are we watching?" she asked, dropping down onto graham. He huffed, pushing her off. She laughed before ruffling his hair.

No one got to answer, not before Billy came storming out, Teddy on his tail.

"What the hell man?" Billy groaned,

"Is something on your mind," teddy asked, nonchalant.

"I'm either gonna kill her or you or myself," he spoke with his hands, dramatic as ever. "where do you think I should start?"

Daisy followed suit, approaching the group. "We need a minute, thanks." He dismissed her with his hand. "Teddy can we, uh." he motioned elsewhere.

"is this the part where the men figure out a solution." Daisy chimed in.

"I highly doubt it," Teddy replied.

Vienna stood up, wrapping her arms around the red head, "don't worry dais, he'll get over it." She smiled, "He just has to kick his feet a little first."

"I dunno man, First we let him back in like it's nothing and now he's got us singing with some chick," Eddie whispered, still going on.

"who're you calling chick?" karen crossed her arms. "we're chicks." Vienna hummed in agreement.

"yeah but not really," Eddie brushed them off,

"what does that even mean," Vienna muttered under her breath.

DAISY: billy finally agreed to do my version.

BILLY: come to think of it, we never did do my version.

VIENNA: the first time i listened, I really felt something. Hope, the poets would call it. [laughs] I was really proud of it. Of us all.
