The sun shines and I'm cold as fuck. I need to find a big monster with fur fit for this generous god.

My heater seems to have no problems, he's not even using any leaves for a blanket. I wish I had the same capabilities as the foolish lad.

I stretch and run around the camp, doing miscellaneous tasks around. Mostly poking our small campfire into a roaring bonfire, where I'm doing my best shaman impression as the sleepy companion finally wakes.

"About time, sunshine," I say, stopping my pretend-shaman chants. "I was thinking…"

I was supposed to be quiet.

Ah fuck it, everyone and their mothers know I like to talk. "I'm going to go around the forest and see if I find any furry creatures. I need more heat, I'm freezing during the night," I say and throw sticks into the fire. "I mean you're emo-ing around so I can't get the heat off you."

Aladdin looks at me, finally, with a pout.

"Oh my pretty, don't worry, I'll survive. I've done it before. With or without your heater-like capabilities."

He pouts more and I grin. "See? You have some use. I like my warm and cosy body pillow… but I do need to go scout around the forest, who knows what's out there."

And for some reason thinking about his body heat heats me up. I been doing my best not to sexualize it, but who in their right mind can? I have this beautiful man radiating me with heat every night. Except for the last two nights, but that's besides the point.

I'm doing my best not ogle at him, but fuck is it hard. He just exists and… boy is it painful that his only clothing is a loincloth.

I stare at his muscled body and snap out of it. It's all useless muscle. I need to think about survival, not fucking.

"Right. Imma go and check if there is any water or food around, then we can keep on marching."

He rubs his eyes and musters a tiny smile when he nods at me.

Why is he so cute? I shake my head and blow out a breath. I can't even consider his attractiveness right now. I must look like the worst kind of feral woman from the wilds, hell, even the way I talk to him is like I'm a caveman.

"Ook-ook, me get food, you wait," I tell him, playing into my caveman situation. God I wish I wasn't like this.

I gather my spears and wave at the sleepy, smiling guy. At least he seems to have snapped out of his weird emo-moment.

I go deeper into the woods, and they do grow thicker, the trees get lushier and the plant life is booming under them. The amount of plantage here means there is water around, which makes me go a bit further.

But I don't find any water, no matter how far I go. I make a big scour through an area, but no luck.

I go back to the camp and shrug at my cavewoman. "Nothing but plants," I mutter and throw a piece of boar meat into the before-bonfire.

Aladdin hands me a canteen and I sip it, we need to reserve water it seems. It's a bit shit as the man drinks a lot, but considering his size it makes sense.

It means I need to be the one reserving my drinking, I wouldn't want him to lose his shine. It is the only thing keeping me sane.

I sigh and poke a stick to the fire. "Anyway, I didn't really brief you yesterday. I was thinking that staying around the same place is useless, so we should get on our adventurer pants and start trying to find people ourselves," I say, and he nods. "Yeah, so we keep lugging until something comes ahead. Hopefully a nice, kind settlement, but anything goes at this point. Fuck these woods."
