# 14 - Under The Stars

You wrestled with Dark Shadow as Tokoyami watched, unsure weather to try and help. You were clearly enjoying the fun. Your giggles filled the room. You got pinned with your face down and spoke muffled into the blankets, "Tokoyami helllpppp."

The poor boy wasn't sure how, "uh- dark shadow, let them go."

Both you and Dark Shadow stopped at looking at him and in sync, "Wow- great helping -"

His jaw dropped slightly, "What was I supposed to do?"

"I don't know - something more than." You deepened your voice mockingly, "Dark Shadow, let them go -"

"Do not mock me -"

You stared and repeated what he said in your horrible Tokoyami impression.

"Stop it -"

"Stop it -" You mocked back at him.

You didn't need to fully see his face to know he was not impressed. Dark Shadow let you go and giggled at your impression.

"Don't encourage this Dark Shadow -"

You bobbed your head side to side while mocking him, "Don't encourage this Dark shadow -" You crossed your arms, trying very hard not to smile and burst out laughing.

"I'm going to bed -" He lay down next to the wall and faced it.

"I'm going to -" You paused and spoke normally again, "Wait, what?" You pouted, "That's not fair -"

"You shouldn't have mocked me then, I tried to help you." He stayed facing the wall, his arms crossed.

You poked his back, "Come onnnn~ don't be a party pooper-" You frowned when he didn't respond and poked him again a little harder. "Tokoyami-"

"I do not need to speak with a degerate."

"Degerate now? Oh, I see how it is - and as I degerate, I shall sleep on the floor -" You started to shift off the bed when a hand grabbed your wrist.

"Absoultly not, you are the guest."

"I thought I was a degerate-"

"Ooooooo," Dark Shadow cued in as she slowly sunk back into Tokoyami's back.

"You are very difficult." You could still feel his hand around your wrist, but it softened.

"I know that- now- the degerate gets the floor -" You sunk to the floor, leaving your wrist up in his grasp.

You heard him angry whispers, "Y/n- get back up here!"

"No- I belong on the floor -"

He peered over the side of the bed, down at you. You could make out the most unimpressived look you've seen so far. High score. Tokoyami sighed and hoped off the bed, "I need a drink. Dealing with you is much work."

"Aww, thank you~"

Tokoyami looked at you for a moment before holding out his hand to help you up, "Do you wish to grab a beverage with me?"

You smiled and took his hand. He struggled for a second, and you giggled. "How did you carry me if you can't even help me to my feet?"

He paused for a moment, "I do not know -"

The two of you left his room and moved quietly down the hallway to his kitchen. He grabbed two glasses from the cupboard and filled them with water, handing one to you. "Thank you-" You took the cup and took a sip.

Your eyes wandered around the dark kitchen, and then out the window. You stopped and stared out at the soft glow of lights down small pathways in what looked to be a small forest. "Woa..."
