#23 - Friend Demands

By the end of school, you flopped face first onto your bed. Denki had come with you. He just laughed.
You rolled over dramatically, "You're dating Shinso, right?"
This caught him off guard, and your dorm room door was slammed shut. You looked up at him. He was blushing.
"You don't just say that stuff!" He said in a whisper yell.
"But you are?"
He nodded, "Sorta ya- I mean. I don't think we've actually said we were dating, but I feel like it's implied... right? I mean -"
"Shush- ypu totally are. Now. How on earth did he ask you out?"
"Hey! Are you assuming I didn't ask him out."
"Did you?"
"No..."
"So how?" You demanded.
"Why is that such a pressing matter?" It clicked in his brain. "Are you planning to ask him!?"
You blushed, "I don't know. Maybe? Just awnser my question damit-"
"Fine fine- uhh. I guess it was really casual? He just asked if I wanted to go check out a cafe with him. And it ended up being a date."
You groaned. "Well, that doesn't work when we are stuck on campus!

Tokoyami's POV

"I asked them if they liked apples..." He said in disbelief.
Sato was trying so hard not to laugh. Eventually, Shoji snickered.
"Dude, that's so bad." Sato added.
"Did they?" Koda asked quietly.
"Ya... they like apples." Tokoyami mumbled.
They all had gathered  in Shojis dorm after school to chill out. And listen to Tokoyami's love problems.

"He was totally going to ask them out!" Dark Shadow added.
Tokoyami groaned, "I can't believe that's what I chose to say..."
Sato patted his back, "You can totally do it, man. You just got a little nervous -"
"I asked if they liked apples!" Tokoyami repeated.
"We know."
"What kind of date were you going to ask them out on?" Shoji asked.
"I'm not sure... maybe a picnic on the grounds? Yn loves being outside and all. They said they practically lived outside at home. With their quirk and all they adored being out in the forests."
"Dude, you need to ask them out." Sato said, listening to his friend start to rant on about yn.
"I'm trying. I don't see why it's so hard." Tokoyami said, frustrated.

Yns POV

"What are you doing?" You asked Denki.
"Texting the group to help you get ready, duh."
"Get ready? Why? What do I need to be ready for?" You asked nervously.
"Asking Tokoyami out and going on a date, of course."
"WHAT!?"
There were loud footsteps approaching the door, and then it burst open. Mina and Kiri breathed heavily from running, then followed by a calm Sero and Bakugou.
"You're doing it?!" Mina asked excitedly.
"I never said that!"
"It just needs to be done." Denki said, "It is too painful watching you both."
"What do you mean by that?" You said as Mina took your arm, pulling you to your closet.
"Nothing, dear." Mina said, holding up some clothes to you and then tossing them. "Outfits first!"
"This is not happening! I am not ready!" You demanded.
"That would be why we are here!" Kiri said.
"To help you get ready." Sero added as he sat on your chair with a grin.

Despite your protests, you now stare at the mirror at yourself. "I still don't think this is a good idea..."
"Nonsense!" Mina said, "It will go wonderfully!"
"I don't even have anything planned for a date." You said trying to reason with them. "If he were to even say yes."
Sero gave you a look, "Don't worry about that."
"Which part?"
"Either of them." Kiri said, walking back into the dorm with Bakugou. The two had left a while ago while you tried to stop Mina from making a huge mess of your dorm.
"Your fucking welcome." Bakugou added.
"Oh, thanks - for what? That does not answer my questions!"
Denki grinned, "They have the date all set up for you. Don't worry about a thing!"
"I'm still worrying... I don't think this is a today thing..."
"It's happening dear, and you look wonderful." Mina said before she started leading you to the door.
Soon, your friends were pushing you down the hall as you tried to reason with them.

"It's OK, guys! This isn't necessary. It's not like he'll say yes, just like that."
"Just trust us, yn!" Kiri said, pushing you in front of Tokoyamis' door.
Denki knocked, and they bolted, leaving yoh standing awkwardly in a panick.
Nothing happened.
You looked over at your friends heads, peeking around the corner and shrugged. "Oh no- guess it wasn't meant to be. This can all be done now."
"What?!" Mina said unhappy, "But we put so much work into this!"
"Ya! You are going to ask him on a cute date!" Kiri demanded.
You groaned, "But he's not even here, and no one knows where he is."
Mina pulled out her phone. She was typing quickly.
"Mina... who are you texting?" You asked, a bit scared.
"Back up."
Denki peaked at her phone and grinned. "Nice idea!"
"I'll just head back to my dorm while you guys have fun, ya?" You said, hoping to escape.
"Not a fucking chance you extra! I did not put in that dman work for you to be a fuckng coward!" Bakugou yelled, having not wanting to a part of this from the beginning.
You sighed, watching Mina text. "Ha! This will be perfect!" She exclaimed. 

Denki grinned at you after reading her phone. And suddenly you some how felt a bit more uneasy about this whole idea.
