I finished cleaning all the instruments I owned, Everett's been getting used to living here, Finn has been taking on jobs. I've told him that D.A.M.N was free, which his Dads appreciated, but he insisted that it was for fun.

"Knock knock! Are you there?" Everett's voice has grown more louder since they moved in. I walked over to the door and opened it, "Hey! Want to come in?" They nodded happily. I stepped aside and let them through. Their eyes immediately went to one of my guitars, specifically my electric bat-shaped one. I grabbed it and started playing a small piece of 'Fur Elise'. It was out of tune a bit so it sounded off but it fit on my appearance.

"DO you really know how to play all of these instruments?" They asked, I shook my head, "I only know how to play piano, guitar and electric guitar, kalimba." I put the guitar down.

"Dad occasionally plays the violin when I'm playing piano," I pointed to the others, "but majority of these instruments belong to Dad." I stood up and brushed myself off, Everett did the same. We got out of the room. Everett went into their room, which was previously a guest bedroom.

I waited in the living room as I could tell that me and Finn needed to talk about our feelings for Everett. It's been gnawing at him and causing him stress. I was hoping he would bring it up himself but he hasn't and I should bring it up before it really gets to him.

"Hey, Sweetie," He said as he entered the room, "what's going on?" His Core seems shaky, "Nothing bad I promise! Just sit, mon Amour." He did and I told him what I've picked up from his Core in response to Everett and apologized that I read without him knowing.

"And you're sure you're okay," His voice in disbelief, "in with me feeling like this about them?" I nodded, "I do, it would be hypocritical if I wasn't and feel the same way about them." That caught his attention, he perked up.

"You do? Could-Can we do something about it?" I grabbed his hand and kissed it, "Love, we need to remain patient if we plan to. After all, they just came out of a horrible relationship." He sighed but it wasn't out of any malice just out of understanding.

"So we make them comfortable," He got up and headed upstairs, "Evs! I'm back." I felt their Core jump up, and heard an echo of laughter. Dad came home not an hour later and helped me make dinner for the four of us.

We all sat in the dining room and chatted about things going on in our lives, and I mentioned the interview. It was only eleven days away and I was getting nervous, Dad and Finn encouraged me. Everett though seemed out of it.

I cleaned the dishes once we were done and Everett stuck around, I heard movement and then weight on my shoulder. I dried my hands and ran fingers through their hair, I murmured sweet things until I felt them go slump.

I carried them into their own bed but wouldn't let go, I sighed and let it happen. How adorable are you? I soon fell asleep alongside them.
