"Look, they have My Bloody Valentine!"

"Mick this is the third time you showed me this."

Mick and I look through the horror section after he said he found some interesting movies. "Alright, alright." We looked through every section finding Clueless, Jumanji, Dead Poets Society, Chucky, Psycho, well, just a lot. From the corner showed a poster of an upcoming movie called Go releasing in 1999 of April. A frame of some shirtless man wearing a Santa hat looks a lot like Mickey.

"Hey Mick, that shirtless guy wearing a Santa hat looks a lot like you." I snorted by accident and covered my mouth. Mick walks closer to take a quick look. "Normally I wouldn't believe you, but this time I do. But out of all people, it had to be a shirtless guy with sideburns that reach his cheeks while wearing a Santa hat."

"Looks like a drug dealer to me."

"Wow, what a good way to call me that why don't you?"

"Shut up Mick." He chuckles while he hovers over me to look at the poster more. "Seriously, he kinda does." I look at the summary of the movie only to realize that it is about selling drugs.

"Oh, this really is about selling drugs."

"I'd still watch it." I laugh along with him. "Same here, it should be a comedy too."

"Yeah, it is." He points to a word that says 'comedy' somewhere around the poster. We both laugh and walk around the section together. Mick, however, still had my hand intertwined with his during the whole trip. I didn't really care at this time. For some reason it felt nice? Weird way to put it as only couples do this, but even friends do, well sometimes. Maybe sometimes? At all? No clue at all to even begin with.

I came across a movie poster, Stab, that is facing me. Ever since the novel, The Woodsboro Killers, a movie has been in the making which happens to be Stab. 'What a title,' I thought to myself. Looking at the date was to only realize that the movie had been released yesterday. Sid doesn't like the fact that this movie has been aired with her and Randy's story along. She told me about her life back in Woodsboro. Ever since then, I watched out for her.

Now thinking about Sid, I look around making sure where she went. She wasn't at the book section as she's now in the record section with Randy. Derek, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, where's Derek?" I look over to Mick who is looking around at the Thriller section. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?"

"Derek, have you seen him?"

"Why are wondering all of a sudden?" My eyes wandered off to Sid. "Because I don't see him anywhere." He stands up and searches for Derek around the store while continuing still on his spot.

"Reg and Hal are still together, so are Sid and Randy. No Derek anywhere. Maybe in the restroom, who knows?"

"Oh yeah, maybe." It became clear for a second. "Do you wanna look at the cds with me?" Mick took no response and dragged me to the cd section again with my hand still laced along with his. For the past few minutes, I was able to look for some at a very, and I mean very cheap price. About fifty cents to a dollar. In my hand held Green Day, Misfits, Iron Maiden, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, A-ha, Queen, almost about ten I had. I'm just a sucker for music, who wouldn't be?

Mick held onto three dvds of My Bloody Valentine, Back to the Future, and Can't Hardly Wait. 'Isn't Can't Hardly Wait a rom-com?'

"Mick why do you have a rom-com with you?" He looks down, taking out the film from his grip. "My little brother and I saw this movie one time on television and he really liked it, especially with my mom. She loves rom-coms."

"What a shocker. Mickey Altieri, a horror movie fan, is into romantic comedies."

"I didn't say I was into rom-coms, N/n."

"But you're into that movie, and it's a rom-com." He mumbles something I can't hear as I just chuckle. All of a sudden he makes contact with me.

"Say, if you were to be interested in romance, how would you want it to be?"

I look around while I think about his question. Just as Sid once said, possibly like a Meg Ryan movie, or hey, maybe a good porno. I chuckle to my thought thinking how funny it'll be if it were that second option. Until, I let out a quick shiver after thinking. 'That was out of thought.'

"Just as Sid once said, maybe like a Meg Ryan movie or a good prono, who knows? I'm not exactly sure. I don't think much about it."

"You don't tend to think about love or anything?"

"I don't believe in much of that, or just to get someone's attention by trying hard."

Mick looks around from corner to corner before he marched closer to me. "This is just a rhetorical question," he trailed. "If I were to admit that you caught my attention, how would you respond to that?" Either at that point this feels like a confession, but it doesn't. Reggie would take it a confession. It's Reggie, he's been wanting me to be in the game for years now. I couldn't think much about his question. I open my mouth only for it to release nothing.

"Y/n! Mick!" Both our views from one another broke apart to glance at Reggie, who is calling us. Derek is here, right beside Sid. Randy is farther away from them, now with Reg. Hallie stayed in the clothes section. "Let's go!" After we paid with what we took, we went back inside the minivan. Mick's question still lingers throughout my mind.

'If he were to admit that I caught his attention, how would I respond? Well, I'm not sure. Depends on whether I feel the same for him or not. If I were, I guess I would've felt very happy about one feeling the same way. But I don't have a crush on Mick. I mean yeah he's cute, sweet, charming, but it doesn't mean I like him in some lovesick way.'

A heavy weight rests on my shoulder, catching me off my topic in my own head. I turn around to see Mick who is just fiddling with his video camera around until he turns it on, facing it towards me. I smile and slowly push the camera down resulting him to move closer than he already was. He kept coming closer and closer after moving the camera that was close enough to touch my face.

My back hit the side of the minivan which left me to a dead end from Mick, his face inches from mine. I couldn't help but just smile. Mick does this all the time and it's just hard to push him away as I usually do. It felt out of pocket for me to not move him, but I'm not complaining. I poke his cheek and finally pushed him off. He didn't say a word and just rested his back on me.

While driving, music played from Reggie's radio. Him and Hallie were talking, Randy showed Sid some movies he bought with Derek, Mick and I just stared at the view. I rested my chin on his head as he didn't seem to mind and took a hold on both my hands while I had my arms around him. I didn't think much about his question, but I know well that he's going to ask me back at the dorm.
