I step in the shower after stripping off the excess clothes I wore last night with the hot water hitting my face. Thoughts keep lingering to the fact that I just made-out with my roommate. Four times! 'Stop that's weird. Who the hell counts how many times you made-out with someone?' I ceded a small laugh over my thoughts. My hands slowly trail up to my face as I cover up my expression to no one around me.

"My god, I can't," I muttered quietly due to the walls being thin. I guess there's no point to try and hide it from the group. It's not a bad thing that we made-out. I just know that once they find out, they'll never leave us alone about it.

'I'm pretty sure with the fact that Mick and I kissed, he would try any way to get another one.' I shrug with the thought of that idea. 'And he did confess to how he felt.' As I shrug in agreement, a thought hit me. 'He was smooth enough to create a question to get a kiss from me.' "That motherfucker," I chuckle to myself. I don't mind at all anyways. Funny how I tried explaining to myself that I didn't have a crush on Mick and there I was making out with him, my roommate. Was I really just scared of experiencing what mom had to go through?...Maybe that was the one reason why I didn't believe back then.

After half an hour, I twist the faucet, repelling water from coming out. I made sure to dry my body very thoroughly with very little spots of water showing. After two minutes, I'm fully arid. I snatched my clothes and immediately wore them on until I almost felt lazy to do so. I brushed my teeth and used mouthwash to feel fresh. Finally, I leave the bathroom, noticing Mickey being completely dressed in a different outfit while watching some television. I step over and sat beside him on his bed.

"Hey." I move my eyes to his. Mick's lips curve to a smile that made me grin back. "Hey." He rests his head above mine while the two of us continue watching a different show he put on. My stomach began to growl. "Damnit." I wrap my arms around my gut in embarrassment from how loud it sounded. Mick laughed for a moment until he had an idea.

"I know! How about we go back to the drugstore for some breakfast?"

"Mick there's a cafeteria here. We could just get breakfast from the lunch room instead." He rolls his eyes playfully. "I know that N/n. I just want this to be you and me, you know?"

The stupid heat launches through my head, initiating myself to blush. I nervously let out a laugh and got up, walking to the door. "Yeah sure we can do that!" I actively spoke as I turn around facing Mick's direction while grabbing the keys. "Let's go then." Once I turn, I slammed my head onto another wall. "Fuck!" I opened the door and took step outside as it nothing just happened a second ago.

We continued walking until we arrived back at the drugstore. The same soda jerk from yesterday is here, cleaning the empty glass cups and plates. His eyes caught our presence, giving Mick the same nod and to me, a smile just like the previous one.

"Hi there you two! Didn't expect to see you both again."

I sent him a quick wave before taking Mick's hand and dragging him to the soda fountain. We sat beside one another on the left corner of the table with the soda jerk passing out two menus. He asked what kind of drink we wanted. Mick asked for coffee and I asked for the same. As he left we already chose what to order. Mickey chose what I ordered after explaining what I was getting. A minute later, the soda jerk came with two drinks, one a cup of coffee, the other a milkshake. 'I didn't order a milkshake.'

"Excuse me, I didn't order a milkshake."

"Oh I know." He leaves me a smile. I opened my mouth to speak before he continued on. "It's just on the house." He winks and grabs a notepad from his apron pocket, ready to fill our order. Mick explains the order, making the guy leave once he finished writing down, also taking the menus.

"That's weird," I said after he left to the kitchen.

"What is?"

"The soda jerk gave me a milkshake when I asked for a coffee. He also said it's on the house too." I think for a while as I take a sip of my milkshake. Man, it tastes sweeter on an empty stomach in the morning.

"It's kinda sweet at this hour for me." I slowly push the milkshake a couple of inches away. Mick lifts his cup of coffee, handing it to me. "You want a sip to get rid of the sweetness?" I smile and thank him while I take a sip of his coffee. "This is delicious." He looks with utter confusion until he took he took a sip himself. "Holy shit, you're right." We laughed together and begin talking about anything. A few minutes later, he takes a straw from a cupboard to drink the leftover coffee from his cup. I smile and took a sip of my milkshake.

I look around for a bit and got distracted to the small TV placed on a top shelf. I feel someone's presence very close to me. I drift off to catch Mick taking a sip of my milkshake with his paper straw. He winks and continues drinking the sweet beverage. I playfully flick his forehead and let him drink the rest of it. I don't usually take a lot of sips from a sweet, sugary drink this early at seven in the morning. Another company joined in as I can feel glares; though, it's not on me, it's on Mick. I take a quick glance at the soda jerk whose hand almost broke the glass in anger. I quickly look away and move my eyes to Mick.

Whip cream got on his lips and he doesn't even know. "What are you looking at?" I chuckle and grabbed a napkin from the holder, placing a hand below his chin while I clean off the cream from his face. He delivers a smile as he went closer, placing a kiss on my cheek. I paid no attention to the soda jerk at this time. I'm just too busy spending my morning with someone I like.
