"Mick-"

"I heard."

The look of anger is printed all over his face. Before he could continue more with the conversation, Gale came. "Y/n?"

"Gale."

"Look, Dewey needs you. He needs you to go to the hospital to fix your wound."

"That'll be fine. If Randy and I could just-"

"I'll go." The four of us look right at Mick as he interrupted Reggie. The same bitter expression still imprinted on his appearance. "Reg, you and Randy stay here. Tell Joel, Hal, Derek, and Sid I'm off with them to the hospital." Gale points to an ambulance not that far. He took my hand, dragging me towards the ambulance until a reporter came, blocking our way. "Debbie."

"Hi again, if you don't mind answering some questions-"

"Look, Debbie, is it?" Mick suddenly spoke towards her. She nods. "Debbie Salt, reporter. You must be Mickey Altieri." The two shook hands, letting go in a second. "I don't know how you got my name-"

"By Gale, for your information."

"Look, listen. Y/n does not want to hear any questions at this time. They're badly injured and in need for treatment on their wound."

"Are you sure they don't want to answer some-"

"He's right, Debbie." She slowly glanced her eyes at me, the both of us now making eye contact. "I don't wanna answer at this time. Just go back with the rest of the crew while I go off, alright?" We left again, leaving her in her spot. Once we got inside the ambulance, they shut the door and drove off when the paramedics came in.

The ride went silent. I refuse to make eye contact with Mick. I can feel his glance at me, yet it doesn't feel like a glance rather more as a glare. He clears his throat before he spoke.

"So, how about you care to explain what just happened at the sorority house?"

I slowly move my eyes toward him. He still seems angry. I'm scared whether or not Randy explained the reason behind he found Ryan and I in an empty room. I just look back down, not a single word came out when I opened my mouth.

"I'm waiting for an answer, you know?"

Again, no answer.

"Hello?"

I only felt tears wanting to fall after having to be in a situation where someone was hurting me. "Look, Mick. I don't know how to explain it yet. And-"

"And?"

"I'm not sure if Randy explained the situation to it-"

"Randy didn't tell me anything. Someone who saw the whole shit going down only told me that you and the blondie were alone in a room together." As I look up, tears began forming on Mick's eyes. "Just why? You said you didn't want to hear him. And after telling you what happened to my last relationship, why the hell were alone with him in a room!?"

"Mick, listen-"

"It feels like high school all over again, you know!? After hearing what happened, I felt hurt!"

"Mick for fucks sake, listen!"

"With how you were with Ryan in that room!?"

"If you could just shut up and let me explain, then yes! Jesus Christ, before you lose control-"

"I am not losing control!"

"There it is! Just listen for once because goddamn it! I just don't want to lose you if you don't hear me out!" His rambling stops. I took a deep breath to prevent myself from crying more before I stated the reason.

"Listen, Ryan picked me up from the sofa, away from Reggie. I assumed it was you. I didn't know because I still had my eyes closed even when he kissed me. And I kissed back, thinking it was you before I bared open my eyes... He wouldn't let go, he pinned me down, I kicked and punched him out of my way, he took hold onto my ankle to make me fall before he pushed me down on the floor to continue what he did."

Tears being falling down to Mickey's face. When I saw him cry, I broke down. He's hurt, and I'm going to blame myself. I just feel guilty even though all of this was Ryan's doing.

"Why would you think I would go with someone who is such an absolute dick to you? I was petrified to be in that kind of situation. I hate what he did to me. When Randy came in, he punched Ryan right across the face. I was finally able to leave his grasp and immediately left the house to look for Sid. Then, this happened." I show him my arm wrapped in a bandage Dewey wrapped around me.

Mick felt more hurt when I unwrapped a bit of the bandage to show part of the wound. I took a deep breather, sighing as I wrap back the bandage around my wound. "I should've went to you first, yet I just ran away from everyone. They all saw, I didn't want to be there anymore."

"No, I don't blame you for not telling me." He got up from his spot and sat beside me, resting his head on my shoulder. "I just went off before you told me the reason behind. I feel terrible for yelling at you, and-" I interrupt him by placing a gentle kiss between us. He kissed back, soon pulling away while I caress his face to wipe away the tears.

"It's fine, honest. I felt guilty for yelling at you, and I'm sorry. But just know I would never cheat on you with someone who's a terrible person around you. I mean every word I said, Mick."

"How?"

"Because I once made a promise to myself that I only want to be with one person, you." I gave him a smile as I lean down to close the gap on us again. My left hand laces with his hair, pulling him to a deeper kiss. Our lips move in sync as the kiss continues being passionate. We parted and I let out a small laugh after thinking of something.

"You should've been there, to be honest."

"What for?"

"I made Ryan mad after telling him you can fuck better than he can."

"You did not-"

"It was worth it." The two of us let out a laugh together, then Mick rests his forehead against mine. "Do you still mean every word you said though?" I smile, caressing one side of his face.

"That promise I made to myself is a promise I never want to break, so yes. Every bit of it."
