And at that moment, I found joy again, which I hadn't felt since I lost my family.

(Second Person P.O.V.)

You lay in your bed, bored out of your mind. There was nothing to do; well, you could continue to read the diary, summoning some vines you brought the journal towards you. You have always been a fast reader and could devour books in a matter of seconds, but for some reason, finishing this diary seemed impossible; you were still at the beginning of it, and it was highly frustrating. Opening the journal, you decide to skip ahead.

Why Would a Goddess Run Away?

Now that got your attention, you start reading this part of the diary; it's not like the beginning held any critical information.

That's a question Kurayami asked me, and honestly, I had no answer. At least not at that time, but now I do. It has been over two hundred years since he asked me that question. It all started when we learned that our aunt had run away a hundred years ago, and I asked that question many times. Why would a Goddess run away? Especially when she was a princess of Heaven? I believe we fell in love with things we should not have. As I mentioned, I met a boy born from the species below, but he was different. I would spend my time with him and learn more about him, and one would think I fell in love with him, but no, I fell in love with his freedom. Something that I could never have. He created this place where I now live, Ninjago, a weird name for this realm.

Let me be clear: he did not create this realm, but he did make this island. This realm originally was an Endless Sea ruled by Wojira before we came here from the Realm of the Oni and Dragons. Though I never fought Wojira, I did hear about her; she was a storm spirit in the form of a giant sea serpent. From what I know, she used the Amulets of Wojira to rule the seas of Ninjago by controlling its waves and storms, and in a battle with the Islanders, Merlopians, and ————, she was defeated by Nyad and thrown into a deep sleep. And at times when everyone is asleep, and the sun is long gone, I can hear her, I can see her, I do not know why, but I do know that something, no, instead, somebody will use her in the future, so I have tried my best to keep her hiding and safe.

You did not know that before The First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, there was Wojira. You knew about the Merlopians, but that was it. You did wonder who else was involved in the battle as their name seemed to have faded. Questions keep forming, yet you ignore them as you assume you will get answers if you continue reading.

Though I never met Nyad before her sacrifice, I did meet her or what was left of her years later. She had forgotten her life and had become one with the ocean, but I am drifting off-topic. The answer to my brother's question is the same as the answer: Why would a Goddess give up her immortality? If I ever meet him again, I will tell him that a Goddess will run away and willingly give up her immortality for something she loves. I ran away in search of freedom, and then years, and I am talking about years later, I decided to give up my immortality as I found something else to love: my husband and my soon-to-be child. ----------- will also make a family, but they would come way after mine; he will have two sons, two kids that represent his heritage, just like I will have my child, which will continue my and Aegir's legacy.
