Butters x Kenny (17)

TW/CW- light blood, punching/fighting, angry Kenny, swearing

Kenny finds out Cartman punched Butters and kicks his ass. Then tends to Butters and eventually confesses.

Kenny woke up to see a text from Butters. It said he wouldn't be at school that day. Kenny frowned, asking why. Butters then sent a picture of himself.

Kenny felt his blood boil. The boy had a black eye and broken nose. The left side of his face was puffed up and swollen, a small cut on his cheek.

Kenny gripped his phone and asked who did it. One word came back.

Eric.

Kenny quickly got dressed and walked briskly to the Cartman house. He pounded on the door and when the fat boy answered, he didn't hesitate to throw a punch. Eric stumbled back in surprise as Kenny grabbed the front of his shirt.

"Are you fucking psychotic?!" Kenny shouted. "What the fuck is wrong with you!"
"What are you talking about!" Eric tried to pull away but Kenny shoved him to the ground.

"You broke his fucking nose! He has a black eye!"

"Butters?"
"Yes!" Kenny nearly screamed.
"He was being an asshole!" Eric tried to defend. Kenny immediately threw another punch and grabbed the boy by his hair.
"Don't you ever. EVER. Lay a fucking finger on him again. Do you hear me?!"

Eric nodded and Kenny shoved him down before turning to leave. He texted Stan and Kyle he was skipping then walked to the Stotch house.

Stephen answered and raised a brow at the blond.
"Yes?"
"I'm here to see Butters,"
"He's in his room,"

Kenny walked past and hurried up to Butters room. He found the blond in his bed, an ice pack to his face and tissues stuffed in his nose. On the bed around him was more bloody tissues.

"Hey Kenny," Butters smiled weakly.

Kenny's heart melted at the sight of the boy and he shut the door, hurrying over.
"Don't worry, he isn't going to hurt you again. I promise," Kenny said softly. Butters wasn't one to ask questions and just accepted it. Kenny went back downstairs and grabbed a plastic bag, more tissues, another ice pack and snacks and water before returning. The Stotch's watched but didn't question or stop him.

Then Kenny cleaned up all the tissues, gave the boy a new cold ice pack and helped him eat and drink. Kenny was sat beside the other, just watching him for a long moment before he realized.

He'd really fallen for this soft little blond. He bit his lip a bit, looking down at Butters hand. So close to his own.

"Ken?" Butters asked softly.
"Yeah?"
"You ok?" Kenny just nodded and watched Butters hand get closer to his own. The shorter boy grasped his hand, squeezing it lightly.
"If you wanted to hold my hand, you could've asked," Butters teased lightly. Kenny blushed and hit the inside of his cheek as he looked up to meet the others eyes.

He looked at his face. Studied it. There was the scar he'd given the other all those years ago. Did he ever apologize for that? How he was blind in that eye.

Kenny moved closer and gently cupped the boys face. Butters looked up innocently, staring into his blue eyes.

"You're so beautiful," Kenny mumbled softly. Butters blushed and smiled, looking away

"Thank you," he said shyly.

Kenny leaned closer and the other went even more red.
"May I?"

Butters nodded, kissing back eagerly. After a moment they parted, both embarrassed and shy.

Kenny couldn't help himself though. He gently kissed the smaller again, holding his face. His skin was so soft in contrast to Kenny's rough hands.

Butters kissed back and moved closer, smiling.
"I like your lips," Kenny smiled. Butters giggled, looking down.

After that, the two dated. Mostly in secret, only their close friends knowing. People who wouldn't spread the word like wild fire. Meaning not Eric.

Stan and Kyle were happy for the two, lightly teasing Kenny about it.

Eric also stopped bothering Butters as much. Kenny made sure any pranks or tricks were lighthearted and wouldn't cause his love to get harmed or grounded.

Slowly falling more in love with this ship. I read a bit of a creek/style/bunny comic I found on TikTok and it inspired me to write this.
